4th Global Youth Conference Malaysia 2025 Concludes Successfully at Asia Pacific University, Kuala Lumpur
The 4th Global Youth Conference Malaysia 2025, organized by the Youth Peace & Leadership Organization (YPLO), concluded with great success at the Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The international conference brought together youth leaders, professionals, policymakers, diplomats, and changemakers from over 20 countries to discuss pressing global challenges and explore collaborative solutions for peace, climate action, education, innovation, and youth empowerment.
The event began with a warm welcome address by Mr. Abdul Moiz, CEO of YPLO, followed by keynote speeches from Mr. Chengkuac Awan โ President YPLO, Ms. Saba Sabir โ Director General YPLO, and a representative of Asia Pacific University, highlighting the importance of global youth engagement and leadership.
The day continued with an energetic Ice-Breaking & Networking Session, followed by an inspiring session on โThe Role of Youth in Peacebuildingโ delivered by H.E. Ms. Elvana Shala, Global Goodwill Ambassador of Kosovo.
A high-level Panel Discussion on โYouth as Drivers of Global Changeโ was moderated by Mr. Chengkuac Awan, featuring distinguished panelists including Mr. Nuruddin Abdul Aziz, Mr. Zailan Arabee Abdul Salam, and H.E. Ms. Elvana Shala. The panel covered diverse topics such as Climate Change, Peace & Conflict, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital Transformation. This was followed by an engaging Delegate Q&A Session that provided participants an opportunity to interact directly with the speakers.
Adding a cultural flavor to the event, Pakistani delegates presented a vibrant Cultural Performance showcasing the rich and diverse heritage of Pakistan. The conference also featured a motivational session by Ms. Hijab Wasif โ CEO of Cyber Fitness, on Fitness, Health & Well-Being, emphasizing the role of physical and mental wellness in youth leadership.
The Youth Storytelling Session featured inspiring stories shared by delegates from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Malaysia, followed by mesmerizing performances by celebrity singers Ms. Sonia Majeed (UAE) and Mr. Gul Khan (Pakistan) that captivated the audience.
In a moment of great pride, YPLO, in collaboration with Cetacea University (USA), conferred Honorary Doctorate Degrees upon three exceptional individuals in recognition of their outstanding leadership and contributions to society. Furthermore, the prestigious 4th Global Youth Awards were presented to 10 young changemakers from Malaysia, Pakistan, Myanmar, Bangladesh, and the UAE for their remarkable efforts in advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and creating social impact in their communities.
The event concluded with the Closing Remarks by Mr. Abdul Moiz, CEO of YPLO, who thanked all delegates, speakers, partners, and volunteers for their commitment and contribution to making the conference a global success.
The conference was proudly supported by Asia Pacific University, which played a pivotal role in its success. Other valued partners included the High Commission of Pakistan in Malaysia, the Pakistan Malaysia Business Association (PMBA), and Cyber Fitness.
