Congratulations to OC Voon Mei on the tremendous success of Lions Club of KL Host “Movie with Senior Homes” Project!

The event welcomed more than 95 senior citizens from 7 senior homes, creating a truly meaningful and memorable experience for everyone involved.

The feedback from the seniors was overwhelmingly positive. Many shared how deeply touched they were by the event, and some even mentioned that it had been more than 15 years since they last watched a movie in a cinema. Seeing the joy and smiles on their faces made all the effort worthwhile.

A heartfelt thank you to McDonald's for generously sponsoring lunch, Tuju Residence and Amerin Cineplex for sponsoring the event, and our Lions members for contributing ang pows for the seniors. Your kindness and generosity helped make this project a great success.

Together, we created not just a movie outing, but a day filled with warmth, companionship, and wonderful memories for our senior friends.

The Lions Club of Kuala Lumpur Host proudly celebrated our President Appreciation & 2026–2027 Board of Directors Installation Dinner, honouring the dedication and outstanding leadership of our outgoing President while officially welcoming our new Board of Directors.
