Last night, a Russian missile hit the factory where NOSU produces Scout uniforms.

We lost the fabric that had already been purchased, as well as uniforms that had already been produced and paid for, but not yet collected.

This happened just before the summer camp season, and all the uniforms lost belonged to new Scouts who had recently joined NOSU. For many of them, this summer will bring their first real Scout camp experience.

We cannot ask families to pay for the same uniform twice, but at the same time, NOSU is not in a position to replace everything that was lost on its own.

So today, we are turning to our friends, partners, and the global Scout community for support.

We all know that a Scout uniform is more than a shirt. It is about belonging, dignity, and equality. It is the feeling of standing together as part of a patrol, a troop, and the worldwide Scout family.

Please help us give these new Scouts the start to Scouting they deserve.

With your support, we will produce new uniforms and get them to the Scouts who have been waiting for them before their first summer camps.

- €20 provides a Scout uniform for one Ukrainian Scout
- €40 provides uniforms for two Ukrainian Scouts
- €100 provides uniforms for five Ukrainian Scouts

As a small thank-you:

- If you donate €20+, you will receive a thank-you video from a Ukrainian Scout.

- If you donate €40+, you will receive a thank-you video and a handmade postcard created by one of our Cub Scouts.

- If you donate €100+, you will receive a thank-you video, a handmade postcard, and a special edition NOSU Scout scarf.

All donations will go directly towards producing Scout uniforms for new Scouts.

All donors will receive a clear report on how the money was spent and what their support made possible.

Thank you for helping us make this possible!

Support Mandatory 'Working With Children Permit' for volunteers in Taiwan!

We are a group of Scouts advocating for child and youth protection during .

⚜️ In Scouting, we value Safe from Harm (SfH), ensuring every child and young person can grow up in a safe and respectful environment. We believe protecting children is not only about prevention, but also about education, clear reporting systems, and keeping unsuitable adults away from youth.

🇹🇼 Taiwan is currently amending 'The Protection of Children and Youths Welfare and Rights Act'. However, the current draft does not include volunteers in the newly introduced 'Working With Children Permit' system.

⚠️ We believe:
Everyone working with children and young people — including volunteers — should share the same standard as paid staff in terms of safeguarding.

📸 We are launching a social media campaign to support the advocate. We invite people to take photos with the ‘Working With Children Permit’ hand sign, post it on Instagram Story, and tag three friends to join!

🫱 Right hand outward: keeping unsuitable volunteers away
🫲 Left hand inward: protecting children and teenager
🫶 Both hands together: symbolizing the 'Working With Children Permit’ 🪪

🌍 Together, let’s create safer environments for every child and young person.

77th Baden-Powell Fellowship Event 🩶🇲🇾

Today marks the 80th birthday of His Majesty the King of Sweden, 🇸🇪Honorary Chairman of the World Scout Foundation. ⚜️

I am grateful to attend the 77th Baden-Powell Fellowship Event in Kuala Lumpur as a Young BP Fellow. It was a privilege to be part of His Majesty’s final overseas engagement before his retirement.

During the event, the Young BP Fellows volunteer in Selangor, helping a mosque rehab its garden, doing a good turn daily while connecting deeper with the community. I also met with friends again from WSC, WSB, Youth Forum, APR, 🇺🇸.scouting Committee & KISC . It was a surreal moment as if the many experiences from past years in Scouting had come together all at once.

Throughout the three-day gathering, we explored the contributions of the Foundation to Scouting and were inspired by Rover Scouts from the Asia-Pacific Region, Precious 🇵🇭, Restu 🇮🇩, and Sean 🇲🇾 who shared the impact of Scouting through their community service initiatives.

I extend my gratitude to the WSF, TGASC, and Scouting America for their support, and to our Malaysian hosts PPM for their warm hospitality. Moments like these humble me, and inspire me to continue giving back to the Movement.

Ahead of his retirement, His Majesty launched the King’s Appeal, a global fundraising initiative to support projects aligned with World Scouting Strategies, contributing to “a peaceful and inclusive world.” For more information, please visit
