Why do people practice charity? As the saying goes, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." Today, we can give according to our abilities, proving that there is a blessing in doing so. Donating coffins and funeral services can create good karma and eliminate negative karma. Donating medicine can improve health and reduce the suffering of illness.

In Pertubuhan Kebajikan Kanak-kanak yatim Dan cacat perlindungan Selangor, there are many patients who suffer from mild mental illnesses and require long-term medication to control their condition. As we all know, psychiatric medications can be costly, which indirectly burdens the center financially.

On the 1st of October, we will be hosting a Mid-Autumn Festival fundraiser for the center. We hope to raise awareness about the patients in the Wei Ai Welfare Shelter who need care and support.

🎉 The evening's activities will include:

Buffet dinner
Lantern lighting 🏮
*Special Yixing performances
Parents with children are welcome to join and contribute to this noble cause. * Those who wish to bring their children must register by 22/9 🙏🏻

Donations can be made in two ways:

Any amount you wish to give
For donations of RM200 and above, you can bring a child with you (the child will receive a Mid-Autumn lantern)
Participants in the event will receive one divination voucher.

Donations received will be allocated as follows:

Total amount minus event expenses
30% (Campaign operation cost)
70% (Pertubuhan Kebajikan Kanak-kanak yatim Dan cacat perlindungan Selangor)

为什么人要做布施？正所谓『施比受更有福』，今天我们还能根据自己的能力去布施，证明是有福报的。施棺赠葬能结善缘除业障，贈医施药可以增强健康运减少被病痛折磨。
维爱福利收容所里住了很多个被轻微精神病折磨的病患，他们都需要长期吃药以压抑病情恶化，众所周知，精神药物都不便宜，这无形中加重了中心的财务负担。
1/10 星期日，我们将为中心举办一场筹募医药费用的中秋晚会，希望从而让更多的人能关注到维爱福利收容内需要被关爱的病患。
