Joint Meeting with RC Sri Petaling and RC TRX. We were honoured to have Dr. Nor, President of RC TRX as the Guest Speaker who delivered a powerful talk on Service Above Self in the Carbon Economy: Turning Carbon Management into Community Prosperity.

Dr. Nor brilliantly connected Rotary's motto with sustainability - showing how carbon management can be turned into real community prosperity. Truly an eye-opener!

A big thank you to the many fellow Rotarians from other clubs for joining and strengthening fellowship. Their presence made this joint meeting a great success!

Together, we Serve Above Self - for people and planet

Highlights from Our Joint Meeting: Chinese Tea Art; a meaningful evening! The Rotary Club of Metro KL and Rotary Club of Sri Petaling gathered for a memorable joint meeting centered on culture, mindfulness, and fellowship.

A special thank you to our guest speaker, Amus Loo, for leading us through The Art of Chinese Tea Drinking. Beyond sharing the history and deep cultural significance behind the various Chinese tea ceremonies, Amus guided our members through an engaging, hands-on brewing session for a good cup of tea. Many had the opportunity to practice brewing techniques firsthand, appreciating the rich aromas and nuanced flavors of distinct tea varieties. Some mooncakes would have been delightful!

Thank you to all Rotarians and guests who joined us for this wonderful night of connection and hands-on learning!

Vision knows no boundaries when a community comes together. 👓✨
Today, our Rotary Satellite Club of Metro KL Synergy, in partnership with the wonderful team at YES Optical, had the privilege of bringing 12 students from Yayasan Basmi Kemiskinan (YBK) for their eye follow-up checks and frame selections at YES Optical Rawang Jaya!

Ensuring these students have the clear vision they need is a vital step toward empowering their learning and brightening their future. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at YES Optical for their warm hospitality and expert care, and to YBK for trusting us to be part of these incredible kids' journeys.

Together, we are helping them see a clearer, brighter tomorrow!

10 July 2026 What a night at the Rotary Club of Metro KL 33rd Installation!

It was all about fellowship, service, and new beginnings as we installed our President Malai & his Board of Directors for Rotary Year 2026/2027 and thank IPP Dr Rao for another remarkable year of service.

And of course — a big shoutout to our emcee, PP Jeyaraj who stole the show!
A few tiny oversights tried to sneak in, but he handled them with quick wits, charm, and kept everyone laughing while keeping things on track. Crisis managed, vibe intact, we inducted two new Rotarians into our Rotary Satellite Club of Metro KualaLumpur!

Thank you all for the laughs, the saves, and for making the evening so smooth.

Proud to be part of RC Metro Kuala Lumpur!
Another year to creating lasting impact!

1 July 2026

The first meeting of the new Rotary year kicked off on a high note as President Malai took to the bell, marking a fresh and exciting beginning.

We were honoured by the presence of AG Ching Loong Loong, who joined us on this momentous occasion as President Malai shared his aspirations and vision for the year ahead.

It was also wonderful to have our Rotary Satellite Club of Metro KL and their guests with us — fellow Rotarians coming together as we look ahead with purpose and commitment.

As we embrace this year’s Rotary theme, Create Lasting Impact, here’s to a year of service, fellowship, and making a meaningful difference together.

CHEQUE PRESENTATION | 25 JUNE 2026*
*CJS 2026 Silver Jubilee: RM255,819 Raised — A New Record!*

On 25 June, we came together to hand over the funds from our 25th Charity Jam Session held on 7 June 2026 at The Saujana Hotel KL.

And the numbers say it all: *RM255,819 raised* — the highest in CJS’s 25-year history.

This milestone was made possible by all of you. From the total, *RM56,185.38 will go to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at UMMC*, and *another RM56,185.38 to the Food Aid Foundation*. *Rotary Club Metro KL and BANTU will each receive RM14,046.35* to support their community work.

We also gave *RM5,000 each* for the families of the late Yugen of The Cauliflower Robbery and the late Hussein of The Strollers, to honour their legacy in our music community.

From live bands to packed tables, 7 June 2026 was a celebration of music, fellowship, and generosity. 25 June 2026 was about turning that energy into real impact.

*Thank you* to every Rotarian, sponsor, partner, band, and donor. You helped us make history, and you helped change lives.

Here’s to 25 years of CJS… and to many more! 🥂

12 - 14 June 2026
Kg Pecah Batu, Kg Ulu Piong & Kg Panderas

3 days, 3 villages, 1 mission.

We hosted *34 campers* and *12 day visitors* over the weekend in the villages, including friends who joined us all the way from Laos.

Despite the wet weather, it was a memorable camp filled with fellowship, service, and plenty of smiles.

From food distribution, kids’ activities, and community engagement to shared meals and camp life under the trees, it was all about connecting, serving, and strengthening bonds.

*A big thank you to everyone who supported, sponsored, and volunteered* to make this mission possible.
