uary 1994 under the Registrar of Societies Act and then officiated on 21st June 1997. It has a President and committee elected yearly by its members to oversee its operations, with Chief High Priest of Malaysia, The Most Ven. Sri Dhammaratana as its Founder and Advisor. The LightUp Community reflects the journey that bought the Ti-Ratana community together as one, regardless of race, religion and creed. The community brings together members of the public, Buddhist community, corporations, and other NGOs to advance the goals of the Society through fundraising events and projects. Our on-going projects currently consist of services to the surrounding neighbourhood and humanitarian responses in other Malaysian states. OUR MISSION:
To collect new toys and distribute to the patients in Children Ward at local Hospitals. OUR OBJECTIVE:
To bring the joy and hope for the children during their treatments in the Hospital. Also a joint effort with local communities in this good cause to support the toy donation drive and distribution activities ss part of our continuous effort to serve our community especially our children. How to Donate Toys:
1. Interested Donors are encouraged to WhatsApp or call to our member @ +60123272729 Julian Kong.
2. Only NEW toys or unopen toys are acceptable due to hygiene and safety of the new toys as these toys will be donated to the patients (children) at the Children Ward.
3. Arrange a time and date for collection.
4. For any deliveries (self-deliveries OR courier services) kindly WhatsApp or call @ +60123272729 to make arrangement on time and date of delivery preferably 2 working days in advance to notify.

1. How would this community project benefits the children? Toys bring joy to the children. During their treatments in hospital, we hope these new toys are able to bring smiles to the children, eventually it creates a hope of positive recovery for the children and we are able to reduce the parents’ worries too.
2. What kind of toys should I choose to donate? We suggest to Donors to consider Toys Car, Action Figures, Dolls (non-furry type only), Bricks, Educational Toys, Apparels and Stationaries.
3. How does this donation drive works? Our volunteers will write in to Corporate Donors and individuals to support this good cause. We only accept donation in kind (new toys ONLY) and we do not accept CASH.
4. What are the mechanics to donate toy? There are 2 (two) types as below:
I. Donation in kind (toys ONLY)
a) Donors to share the donation list of new toys and the delivery schedule with a minimum of 2 (two) working days in advance with our team. b) Donors are required to confirm the self deliveries OR courier services schedule with a minimum of 2 (two) working days in advance and send to the address below:
