Worldwide Industrial Association WIA had the opportunity to visit the Kementerian Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi (MOSTI) in Malaysia and learn about their Strategic Research Fund (SRF). This grant is designed to help businesses grow and innovate in Malaysia.

The SRF provides funding to companies that are working on innovative projects in the areas of science and technology. This funding can help businesses develop new products, improve existing ones, and explore new markets.

It was inspiring to see how the SRF has already made a difference for many businesses in Malaysia. It was great to learn about how the grant works and the positive impact it has on the economy and society.

Pertubuhan Industri Sedunia (WIA) telah berpeluang melawat Kementerian Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi (MOSTI) di Malaysia untuk mempelajari Dana Penyelidikan Strategik (SRF) mereka. Geran ini direka untuk membantu perniagaan tumbuh dan berinovasi di Malaysia.

SRF menyediakan pembiayaan kepada syarikat yang bekerja pada projek inovatif di bidang sains dan teknologi. Pembiayaan ini dapat membantu perniagaan mengembangkan produk baru, memperbaiki produk sedia ada, dan mengeksplorasi pasaran baru.

Worldwide Industrial Association (WIA) accompanied by Julie's Biscuits paid a courtesy call to the High Commissioner, H.E. Amb. Francis Muhoro at Embassy-Malaysia

In the meeting we discussed about benefits of investing in Kenya and establishing a good partnership especially in Health Care, Housing, Food & Nutritional and also Manufacturing. The Embassy has welcome all prospects in open hands regarding collaboration opportunities from all parties.

In addition, Julie's Biscuit took this opportunity showcase our childhood biscuits to Africa.
