Empowering Every Voice 🎤✨

The Malaysian Association for the Blind (MAB) was pleased to collaborate with E-Bright Sdn. Bhd. for an engaging Public Speaking & Communication Workshop held today at the MAB Gurney Training Centre.

The session brought together over 15 blind and visually impaired students, providing them with an accessible and interactive platform to develop their public speaking, communication and self-confidence.

Through practical activities and meaningful interactions, students were encouraged to step out of their comfort zones, express their ideas and discover the power of their own voices.

At MAB, we believe that public speaking is more than simply speaking in front of an audience — it is about having the confidence to express yourself, advocate for yourself and be heard.

A heartfelt thank you to E-Bright Sdn. Bhd. for making this meaningful learning opportunity possible and for supporting a more inclusive environment where every voice is valued.

Together, we empower voices, build confidence and create possibilities.

We are beyond thrilled and proud to see our Kem Belia OKU Penglihatan Malaysia 2026 featured in The Star! 🌟

Seeing the incredible courage, teamwork, and resilience of our 30 youth participants recognized on a national platform means the world to us. Living true to our theme, “Belia Cekal, Semangat Juang Kekal” (Resilient Youth, Everlasting Fighting Spirit), our participants crushed every challenge—from night adventures and flying fox to jungle trekking to the waterfall! 🧗‍♂️🌿🌊

✨ Periksa, Jaga, Ceria! 🩺❤️

Persatuan Bagi Orang Buta Malaysia (MAB) dengan kerjasama Hospital Tuanku Ampuan Besar Tuanku Aishah Rohani, Hospital Pakar Kanak-Kanak UKM (Hospital Tabtar) telah berjaya mengadakan Program ENT Cilik pada hari Ahad yang lalu, 2 Ogos 2026.

Program ini merupakan inisiatif kesihatan komuniti khas yang menawarkan pemeriksaan telinga, hidung dan tekak (ENT) secara percuma untuk kanak-kanak OKU Penglihatan serta kanak-kanak kepada ibu bapa OKU Penglihatan. 👂👃🫁

Bertempat di Kompleks MAB, Brickfields, program ini menghimpunkan para pakar perubatan dan komuniti setempat demi memastikan kanak-kanak OKU Penglihatan serta anak-anak kepada ibu bapa OKU Penglihatan mendapat rawatan ENT yang aksesibel dan mesra OKU Penglihatan.

Jutaan terima kasih kepada semua doktor, kakitangan kesihatan dan rakan kerjasama yang menjayakan program yang cukup bermakna dan penuh dengan senyuman ini! 🌟

𝐊𝐞𝐚𝐳𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐭 𝐉𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐚𝐤 𝐝𝐢 𝐊𝐞𝐦 𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐎𝐊𝐔 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 🇲🇾✨

Unit Belia Sukan dan Rekreasi, Persatuan Bagi Orang Buta Malaysia (MAB) telah menganjurkan Kem Belia OKU Penglihatan Malaysia 2026 yang bertema 'Belia Cekal, Semangat Juang Kekal' dari 31 Julai sehingga 2 Ogos 2026, bertempat di Kem Rimba Tamu, Batang Kali, Selangor.

Para peserta dibantu oleh Ahli Jawatankuasa Kerja serta Sukarelawan telah selama 3 hari 2 malam berjaya menyertai pelbagai aktiviti rekreasi luar dan pembinaan sahsiah yang mencabar. Antaranya merupakan aktiviti Ice-breaking dan Mind Setting, Kembara Malam, Senaman Pagi, jungle trekking ke air terjun, Flying Fox, Malam Kebudayaan serta Team Building Games.

Program ini merupakan salah satu platform untuk belia OKU Penglihatan membuktikan bahawa mereka berani menyahut cabaran meneroka alam semulajadi, membina keyakinan diri, memupuk semangat kerjasama, kepimpinan, daya tahan serta meningkatkan kemahiran hidup.

Majlis Penutup dan Penyampaian Sijil bagi program ini telah disempurnakan oleh YB Tuan Danial Al-Rashid bin Haron Aminar Rashid, Pengerusi Majlis Tindakan Orang Kurang Upaya Negeri Selangor (MTOS). Turut hadir ke majlis ini ialah Dato' George Thomas, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif MAB serta wakil daripada Majlis Perbandaran Hulu Selangor. YB Tuan Danial Al-Rashid telah sudi merasmikan penutupan program dan menyampaikan sijil penyertaan kepada para peserta.
