The Lost Food Project TLFP is a pioneering food bank in Malaysia, rescuing food & surplus products for those in need.

Rescuing surplus food from Malaysian supermarkets & placing it in the hands of those who need it most. The Lost Food Project works to:
- Feed hungry people & offer them a nutritious diet
- Offer support to NGOs to maximise their use of donated food through food safety advice, refrigeration, storage & cooking assistance
- Reduce environmental damage by preventing unnecessary food waste & recycling organic waste wherever possible

When life gave us rescued lemons... we did something we’ve never done before. 🤫🍋

This , we’re collaborating with TUG Gelato™ by The Unusual Greens to drop a first-of-its-kind mystery treat and it’s un-peel-ably yummy! 🍦✨

Massive love to our long-term donor by Euro-Atlantic Group 🥙🌎💚 They’re proudly donating the wonky but wonderful fresh produce used to handcraft this special batch, keeping our food rescue mission moving!

Talk about driving real impact! 🏎️💨💥

A huge shoutout to the incredible team of Googlers for rocking the Grocery Run Challenge! Instead of just talking about corporate , this amazing team hopped straight into their cars and drove (pun intended) real, measurable social and environmental impact! 🌱

The ripple effect that 34 volunteers created in a single day was so inspiring 🥹✨ Working together like a total pit crew, they cleared surplus shelves at 21 different marts and bakeries. Then they rushed all that high-quality fresh food and bread straight from storefronts to kitchens of 9 local charities, shelters, and vulnerable B40 communities. By doing all this, they actually advanced 12 out of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals!

Every single trunk full of food kept good meals out of landfills and stopped harmful greenhouse gases in their tracks. Thank you so much Google for filling up your cars and showing up for our community. We cannot wait for the next ride together! 🌍💚

Now this is what we call the perfect warm-up before F1 weekend! 🏎️💥

12,250 kg of papayas? No problem. 🥭💁‍♀️✨

These past two days were total papaya-monium, but our super logistics squad and on the ground made the impossible happen. Together, we got 12,250 kg of fresh fruit straight to B40 families in Tasek Selatan, Kepong, and Ulu Pudu who need them most.

For us, this is HUGE! 😍 Not just in terms of the sheer volume or size of this rescue, but it’s real proof of what happens when a community unites. Every single crate we share brings us closer to a sustainable world where good food goes to nourishing our communities instead of ending up in a landfill, building a future that is kind to both people and planet. 🌍💚

Building climate and nature resilience starts with transforming our food systems. We absolutely loved chatting with everyone who stopped by, tackled our food waste trivia, and learned why food rescue is a critical solution for our planet and our communities. ♻️🌱

It was really nice seeing familiar faces and meeting so many new change-makers! A special shoutout to for thinking of us and extending the invitation to be part of this.

Laticrete came through with the best energy for their Day! 💪⚡

We are super grateful for the wonderful Laticrete team! They recently teamed up with us for a veggie sort and pack session, saving 3,548 kg of surplus food and turning it into 10,138 nourishing meals for those who need them most.

By keeping good food out of landfills, they prevented 8,871 kg of CO2 emissions. Their efforts also supported 53 local charities, spreading warmth and nourishment far and wide. Thank you for showing up for both our community and our environment! 🥙🌎💚🌱
