Fresh, Green, Nutritious.

Food like this is rescued and redistributed to communities across the Klang Valley. It’s a simple reminder that where there’s surplus, there’s perfectly good food that simply didn’t find a home in time.

Together, we can build more sustainable communities and a greener future 🌏💚

A big thank you to PBKL and for helping make this work possible. Together, we’re feeding the hungry, not the landfill.

Happy ! 🌎💚 Today, we need to get serious about our food problem and no, it is not about finding the best eating spots.

The math is just not mathing right now. 😭

While 1 in 5 Malaysian children under five face stunting from malnutrition, our landfills absorb 4,000 tonnes of perfectly edible food every single day. That is enough to feed 3 million people three full meals!

Hunger is not a supply issue at all, but a logistics and awareness failure that ultimately comes down to our everyday production and consumption habits.

At TLFP, we are here to close the gap between surplus and urgent need by rescuing high-quality food before it hits the landfills and moving it straight to the families who need it most.

This World Hunger Day, let’s close the loop together:

And that’s a wrap! 🎬 A massive thank you to the lovely MBA students from (ASB) who finished their onsite study with us today! We’ve loved having their vibe and brilliant minds in the office, and we are certainly going to miss them around here. Until next time! 💪✨

For the past month, they’ve been diving deep into our operations at our KL hub to help us answer a big question: How do we scale food rescue across Malaysia efficiently? 🌎💚

By looking at how we do things in KL, they’ve built a playbook to help us smoothly expand our rollout plan to Ipoh and beyond. They mapped out everything from better tracking and smoother supply chains to managing risks.

The big goal? 💫 To help us reach more areas, get food to those who need it faster, and create a lasting, sustainable impact across Malaysia. We are so grateful for their hard work and can’t wait to read their final report!

Want to be a ? Whether you want to partner with us or simply join the movement to feed the hungry not the landfill, we need you! Every bit of support and expertise helps us optimise our operations and expand our reach.

Happy ! 🐝🌸 Every meal tells a story that starts with a bee.

1 out of every 3 bites of food we eat relies completely on pollinators like bees. Bees are literally carrying our entire food ecosystem on their backs. 😭

That is why food waste is so heartbreaking. Dumping good food into landfills doesn’t just harm the environment, it completely disregards the immense effort nature put into growing it.

At The Lost Food Project, we are honouring the bees by keeping their hard work out of landfills and getting it to communities who actually need it. 🌎✨

Let’s value our food and protect our planet, one bite at a time.

Here’s how you can make a difference today:
🍽️ Finish your food: Treat your leftovers like gold.
💚 Support food rescue: Donate or volunteer with TLFP to scale our food rescue efforts.

Tomorrow’s change starts with today’s young minds. 🧠✨

We spent some time last week with the incredible Year 3 students at during their “Food, Glorious Food” module. Together, we traced the journey of our meals from “farm to fork” and explored a critical missing piece of the puzzle: what happens when good food goes to waste, and how saving it protects our planet. 🌱🌎

True climate action begins when we unlearn overconsumption. By teaching children to value the water, labour, and resources behind every single meal, we inspire positive habits that last a lifetime.

School outreach is at the very heart of what we do at TLFP. When we give future leaders the tools to understand food sustainability, we plant the seeds for a zero-waste tomorrow.

A massive thank you to GIS for opening your classroom doors to us, prioritising real-world eco-education, and empowering the next generation of ! 💚
