Who is the 60th President of the Rotary Club of Pudu, District 3300 ?

Yes, she is none other than our very own in-house legend, who has journeyed through Rotary as an Interactor, Rotaractor, and now a proud Rotarian—Rotarian Yeoh Siew Peng.

➢ She graduated in University of Derby with Master in Business Administration; and on top of that she also holds Certified Credit Professional and Chartered Banker.
She is now serve as the Head of Foreign Direct Investment Desk in AmBank.
More than 15 years of banking experience in corporate banking and investment banking specialized in multi-national corporation.

➢ With relevant experience in Structured Trade Financing, capital markets instrument, digitalization, ESG, and Crypto-currency.

➢ She is also being recorded as one of the Successful people in Malaysia and Singapore by British Publishing House Ltd in 2025.

Her Rotary Journey

Rotarian Yeoh began her Rotary journey as an Interactor, progressed to become a Rotaractor, and has now dedicated more than 20 years to the Rotary family.

During her tenure as Rotaract President in Rotary Year 2008–2009, her club was honoured with the Best Rotaract Club award.

She was also selected as a Group Study Exchange (GSE) Delegate in 2012, representing the district on an exchange programme to District 5110, Oregon, USA.

Today, as the 60th President of the Rotary Club of Pudu, Rotarian Yeoh Siew Peng continues to lead with professionalism, dedication, and a lifelong passion for Rotary service.

Tonight marked a meaningful milestone as President Siew Peng chaired her first regular meeting as the 60th President of the Rotary Club of Pudu.

Held at the Imperial Lexis Hotel, we were privileged to welcome 27 members and 15 guests. Your presence, encouragement, and fellowship made this evening truly special.

Every new chapter begins with a single step, and this meeting marks the start of another year of service, friendship, and meaningful impact. Together, President Siew Peng look forward to working alongside together with our dedicated members to create positive change in our community and to live out Rotary’s motto: Service Above Self.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on this journey. Here’s to a year filled with purpose, collaboration, and unforgettable moments!

RC Pudu - International Service Avenue RY2026-27

As part of our International service initiative , our IS Director PP Alex chang together with PP Apollo Tan of RC Mandaluyung, had organized a series of activities with Kuye Centre in Philippine on 3rd July 26, aimed to provide relevant knowledge on Chinese culture as follows:-

1 the Mandarin project, “The Gift of Words, Teaching Mandarin Opening Doors at Kuya Centre”

2 World understanding Project “From Batik to Barong: Sharing Heritage, Building Peace” This is a very good chance for the kids to experience different cultures firsthand. We also believe that exposure like this can help them dream bigger and see a wider world beyond what they are used to.

Just to give you a better picture, they currently have 19 children:

* Ages 5–6: 2 children
* Ages 7–10: 8 children
* Ages 11–13: 4 children
* Ages 14–15: 2 children
* Ages 16–18: 3 children

1. The Mandarin classes is an on going basic mandarin class for 3 months, it will be launched on July 3, 2026 followed by another 10 online lessons;
2. Wushu;
3. Lion dance;
4. coaching session on how to use chopstick;
5. Food tasting session - bak k*t teh cooking on site;
6. cultural exchange children teaching us Tagalog.

The Rotary Club of Pudu Annual Interact Awards Presentation for RY25/26 was successfully held on 9 May 2026 at SMK MBS KL. ( 6 Interact clubs)

Congratulations to all participating Interact Clubs for their outstanding efforts, dedication, and service throughout the Rotary year. After careful review by the Awards Committee, the following major awards were presented:

President Wong Wai Seng presented the awards and recognizing the achievements of our young leaders.

Congratulations once again to all clubs. Every competition is a journey of learning, growth, and becoming better leaders through service.

Education is one of the greatest investments we can make for the future.

On 9 May 2026, Rotary Club of Pudu proudly continued our long-standing annual Financial Aid Program, supporting 68 deserving students with a total contribution of RM34,000 towards their educational needs.

Since the 1970s, our club has remained committed to empowering students through education assistance, believing that every helping hand extended today can create brighter opportunities tomorrow. We firmly believe that by nurturing our young generation, we are giving them the chance to fulfil their fullest potential and build a better future for themselves and the community.

During the meaningful ceremony, the mock cheque was presented by President Wong Wai Seng (RY 25/26) to representatives from the four participating schools.

This initiative reflects Rotary’s enduring spirit of Service Above Self — investing in hope, education, and the leaders of tomorrow.

Together, we can continue to make a difference, one student at a time.

For the past 7 years, Rotary Club of Pudu has remained committed to one simple belief — no child should have to learn on an empty stomach.

Through our “Learning Without Hunger” initiative, we continue to provide nutritious daily meals to students in need because every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and chase their dreams with dignity and hope.

What started as a small effort has grown into a meaningful community mission. Today, this initiative supports students by improving their nutrition, encouraging better school attendance, strengthening concentration in class, and giving families one less burden to carry. Beyond meals, we are nurturing confidence, well-being, and a brighter future for the next generation.

This program is made possible through the compassion of our members, partners, and supporters who believe that kindness can create lasting change. Together, we continue planting seeds of hope — one meal, one child, one future at a time.
