SHINE & CHEER 2026 | Creating Memories, Sharing Happiness!
3 Days, 2 Nights. One Journey, Countless Smiles!
From 25–27 September 2026, the Rotary Club of Pudu embarked on a meaningful community service journey from Kuala Lumpur to Kuantan, Cherating, Temerloh and Kuala Gandah, together with children from Yayasan Sunbeams Home.
Through our SHINE & CHEER for the Orphans & Underprivileged Children programme, we brought the children on an exciting adventure filled with batik painting, firefly watching, beach outings, turtle encounters, an ice cream factory visit and an unforgettable experience with elephants at Kuala Gandah!
Three days filled with laughter, new experiences, friendships and countless happy moments!
Beyond the activities, what mattered most was seeing the children's smiles and creating memories that we hope will last a lifetime.
Our heartfelt appreciation to all Rotarians, volunteers and supporters who made this meaningful journey possible.
Shine with Hope. Cheer with Love. Inspire for Life.

Joint Rotary Club Meeting with YB Hannah Yeoh

12 September 2026 | Royal Signature Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

It was a wonderful and meaningful afternoon of engagement at our joint meeting between the Rotary Club of Pudu, Rotary Club of Bukit Bintang and Rotary Club of Cheras, featuring YB Hannah Yeoh, Federal Minister, as our Guest Speaker.

The session provided an excellent opportunity for our members to gain a deeper understanding of various government programmes, initiatives and community development efforts. More importantly, we explored areas where Rotary can work together with government agencies to create a better, more inclusive and sustainable living environment for all Malaysians.

After listening to YB Hannah and understanding the government’s direction and priorities, we are encouraged to see that Rotary has an important role to play. As a service organisation, we can continue to contribute our resources, networks, expertise and volunteers while working alongside government agencies to address community needs.

This is a reminder that it is time for Rotary to do more — not simply more projects, but projects that create lasting and meaningful impact in our communities.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to YB Hannah Yeoh for taking the time from her busy schedule to be with us and for sharing her insights so openly with our members.

A very special thank you also goes to all our members, organising committee, Past Presidents and everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this joint meeting possible.

And most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event. Without your participation, enthusiasm and support, this event would not have been the success it was.

We were delighted to welcome a full house of approximately 200 participants on the day.

Together, let us continue to Create Lasting Impact , strengthen our partnership with the community and government, and create projects that make a lasting difference to the lives of Malaysians.

Education is one of the greatest investments we can make for the future.

On 9 May 2026, Rotary Club of Pudu proudly continued our long-standing annual Financial Aid Program, supporting 68 deserving students with a total contribution of RM34,000 towards their educational needs.

Since the 1970s, our club has remained committed to empowering students through education assistance, believing that every helping hand extended today can create brighter opportunities tomorrow. We firmly believe that by nurturing our young generation, we are giving them the chance to fulfil their fullest potential and build a better future for themselves and the community.

During the meaningful ceremony, the mock cheque was presented by President Wong Wai Seng (RY 25/26) to representatives from the four participating schools.

This initiative reflects Rotary’s enduring spirit of Service Above Self — investing in hope, education, and the leaders of tomorrow.

Together, we can continue to make a difference, one student at a time.
