GLOBAL ISLAMIC UNITY FORUM (GIUF) HAILS INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT (ICC) ARREST WARRANTS ON BENJAMIN
NETANYAHU, YOAV GALLANT AND MOHAMMED DEIF.

Global Islamic Unity Forum (GIUF) hails
decision by the International Criminal Court
(ICC) issuing arrest warrants against Israel
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former
Israel Defence Minister Yoav Gallant and
Hamas military chief Mohammed Deif.

GIUF urges all countries to affirm commitments to international law and to act in accordance with their obligations under the Rome Statute. Let mankind still belief that there is still hope in international law and
institutions.

GIUF applaud majority countries which welcome the ICC decision and take steps to enforce the arrest. Whereas the minority countries beholden to USA and refused ICC decision are a disappointment.

ICC was satisfied that Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant intentionally and knowingly deprived the civilian population in Gaza of
sustenance indispensable for their survival. Let them understand that they are not beyond the reach of law.

Let law enforcement hunt them wherever they travel. A substantial bounty
should be given to all those contributing to their arrests.

GIUF EXHORTS UNITY TO BUILD STRENGTH AND RESILIENCE

The world is moving towards post- globalisation. Nationalism is breeding in
Europe and fast spreading to Asia. A nation
security now takes precedence over prosperity.

Germany and Netherlands cut cheaper gas
supplies from Russia and buy from USA at
higher price. Cost competitiveness takes
backstage and political and security alignment become important consideration.

Sanctions and tariffs are new weapons of economic war. USA and NATO froze Russian financial assets. Russia retaliated by freezing EU banks assets.

Conflicts erupted in the region of Ukraine - Russia and Israel - Palestine. The South China Sea and Straits of Malacca are dangerous flashpoints.

Nations have to refocus their priorities. Start building national security and strength.

The people must be trained to build resilience. We have to learn to survive
difficult times. Live with less. Islam's teaching for moderation including fasting is a good training ground.

Post-globalisation forces a realignment of nations. BRICS spearheaded by China and Russia is gaining momentous support. Even the survival of United Nation is threatened. The once powerful nations of G7 is
weakening.

Hence, Global Islamic Unity Forum (GIUF) wish to exhorts muslims worldwide to foster unity to build strength and resilience.
