A long-term Malaysian expatriate from Chavakkad, Thrissur, who has been working in Johor, faced a medical emergency while planning to return to India for treatment. He arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport on 12 December 2025, but due to his health condition and the absence of an accompanying person, he was unable to proceed with his journey and was subsequently admitted to Cyberjaya Hospital.
After being discharged on 13 December 2025, the matter was brought to the attention of the Pravasi Malayalee Association Malaysia (PMA). Responding without delay, PMA Advisor C. M Ashraf, along with PMA President Mujeeb Rahman, PMA Selangor President Naseer, and Shaji Dekkil, personally visited the hospital, settled the medical expenses, and made all necessary arrangements.
With PMA’s support, he was safely escorted back to the airport and successfully travelled to Kochi, accompanied by a friend, with wheelchair assistance provided.
