Our thoughts are with the healthcare team and crew involved in the Flying Doctor Service helicopter incident in Sarawak, and with their families and loved ones.

Sometimes, things move quickly.
Concerns over WBB were brought directly to the Health Minister. The matter then went to Cabinet — and the proposed pilot was subsequently called off.
23 January: the meeting.
24 January: the decision.

Some changes take longer than others.
After years of advocacy, engagement and one very visible walk to Putrajaya, the GP consultation fee ceiling finally moved from RM35 to RM80.
Was it everything GPs asked for? No.
Was it movement? Yes.
Sometimes advocacy is persistence.

MMA continued challenging the medicine price display policy, including its legal mechanism and implementation.
In May 2026, the High Court granted a stay of enforcement pending disposal of the judicial review.
Sometimes, holding the line matters too.
