On this meaningful Teacher’s Day, 16th May, Dr Norella Kong was honoured with the Fellowship of the College of Physicians Malaysia (FCoPM) — a prestigious recognition awarded to distinguished medical professionals for their outstanding contributions, leadership, expertise, and dedication to the advancement of medicine and the nurturing of future generations of doctors.
In the medical profession, a “Fellowship” represents one of the highest forms of professional recognition, reflecting a doctor’s experience, knowledge, integrity, and service to both the medical community and society. It is more than a title — it is a symbol of lifelong commitment, excellence, and legacy.
Receiving this honour on Teacher’s Day makes the occasion even more meaningful, as Dr Norella Kong is not only respected as an accomplished physician and nephrologist, but also as an educator, mentor, and guiding figure to many throughout her more than four decades of service.
“A great teacher does not simply share knowledge, but leaves a legacy that shapes the future.”
On behalf of Yayasan Kadir & Fatimah, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dr Norella Kong on this well-deserved recognition. May her dedication, wisdom, and service continue to inspire generations to come.
