Every child deserves to be a child. ๐
When we walk into a paediatric oncology ward, we donโt just see patients.
We see children.
Children who still want to laugh. ๐
Children who still get excited over a new toy. ๐งธ
Children who want to draw, play and create. ๐จ
Children who miss school, their friends and their normal routines. ๐
Children who may be going through something much bigger than they should ever have to face. ๐ฆธ
Cancer may be part of their journey, but it should never define their childhood.
At Happy Cure KL Welfare Association, we believe that emotional wellbeing matters.
Through our hospital visits and activities, we hope to create little pockets of happiness in the middle of long hospital days - a smile from a volunteer, a new toy from our trolley, a fun activity, or simply someone taking the time to sit, play and be present. ๐
Because sometimes, a small moment of happiness can mean so much.
This Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we stand with:
