SAVI GOLF FUNDRAISING TOURNAMENT CLOSES WITH SUCCESSFUL DINNER CEREMONY AT KGC HALL

The SAVI Charity Golf Tournament concluded on a high note with a closing ceremony dinner held at the Kinabalu Golf Club (KGC) Hall, following a successful two-day event that attracted a total of 176 participants.

The dinner program featured the presentation of tournament prizes, an abundance of lucky draw giveaways, and special entertainment by three bands comprising Vision-Impaired performers, which added a meaningful and uplifting touch to the evening.

In her speech, the President of SAVI, Mdm Sabrina Sitawin expressed her heartfelt appreciation to all participants, sponsors, volunteers, and organisers for their strong support. She also shared her hope that the SAVI Golf Tournament would be made an annual event, in view of the encouraging response and positive impact achieved.

The highlight of the night was the Grand Prize draw for a Motorcycle valued at RM5,300. Originally designated as a Hole-in-One prize, the motorcycle was later converted into the Grand Prize after no participant achieved a Hole-in-One during the tournament.

The evening concluded in a warm and relaxed atmosphere, reflecting the strong camaraderie among participants and the overall success of the event. The encouraging turnout and enthusiastic participation underscored the community’s continued support for SAVI and its mission.
