SAVI Visit to Tenom
The SAVI team, comprising the President, Secretary, and Treasurer, recently made a visit to Tenom to donate fund to part finance a Pau Steamer to a Blind and Visually Impaired (BVI) entrepreneur, En Ezhar Anuar who operates a local café at the Agriculture Park.
The primary purpose of the visit was not only to present a Cheque to purchase the equipment to support the café business but also to discuss potential public awareness and fundraising programmes that could be organised in Tenom in the future.
We were warmly welcomed by our host, En Ezhar and his wife, who expressed great appreciation for the visit and support provided by SAVI. The team was treated to a delicious lunch and later enjoyed a guided tour of the Agricultural Park aboard the park's train service.
At the end of the visit, our generous host presented each team member with two pomelos and a pack of Jackfruit as a token of appreciation.
The visit was both productive and meaningful, providing an opportunity to strengthen relationships, explore future collaborations, and support the empowerment of the Blind and Visually Impaired community. It was truly an enjoyable and memorable experience for everyone involved.
