Some goodbyes leave a silence behind.

Some memories linger a little longer.
Some voices may no longer be heard, but the words, lessons and moments they left with us continue to live on.

This Tuesday, we gather for a special evening under the theme “Blooming Beyond Goodbye” — an evening of reflection, remembrance, fellowship and growth.

Because while every chapter must eventually come to an end, what we have shared along the way can continue to bloom. 🌱

In Loving Memory of Abu Bakar Sheriff, DTM 🤍

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Abu Bakar Sheriff, Distinguised Toastmaster.

A cherished member of the Kota Kinabalu Toastmasters family, his presence, wisdom and years of fellowship have left a lasting mark on our club and on the many lives he touched.

We are grateful for the memories shared, the words spoken, and the legacy he leaves behind. Though his voice may no longer fill the room, his impact will continue to live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Our deepest condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Forever loved, never forgotten. 🕊️
May he rest in peace.

In conjunction with World Nature Conservation Day, join us for an evening of inspiration, meaningful conversations, and personal growth as we explore how our voices can create positive change.

Guiding us through the evening is our Toastmaster of the Evening, also our Area K1 Director, Jonathan George, who will lead a meeting centred on the theme World Nature Conservation Day. Together, we’ll discover how communication and leadership can inspire action; not just for ourselves, but for the world around us.

While nature cannot speak for itself, we can. Every speech, every conversation, and every action has the power to raise awareness and make a difference.

💧 Don’t forget to Bring Your Own Water (BYOW) as we continue our commitment to sustainability.

💧♻️ New Term. New Habits. New Impact.

Beginning July 2026, KKTMC proudly launches its Bring Your Own Water ( ) initiative as part of our sustainability efforts for Term 2026/2027.

As part of this initiative, KKTMC will be transitioning away from providing disposable paper cups and bottled water at meetings, encouraging members and guests to bring their own reusable bottles instead.

Every refill is a step towards reducing single-use plastics and building a more environmentally conscious club culture—one bottle at a time.

Let’s make sustainability part of who we are, not just what we do.
