SWEPA Dedicated to developing women entrepreneurs and professionals through continuous learning, leadership growth, and strategic networking.

Committed to deliver value to the community through impactful initiatives, collaborations, and empowerment programs. The idea for the formation of SWEPA was first mooted by the Sabah Women's Advisory Council in 1993 and the Pro-term Committee was headed by Datuk Nancy Ho, who later became the Founder President of SWEPA. Current SWEPA's Executive Committee sits for a two-year term from July 2025 to

June 2027. The current Team consist of :

The Presidential theme is : "RADIANCE". Membership is open to all Malaysian women aged 18 and above and Associate Membership is available for women holding foreign passports who are residing in Sabah permanently. All are welcome to our Biznet and Toastmasters Club meetings.

SWEPA 30th Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026

The Sabah Women Entrepreneurs & Professionals Association (SWEPA) successfully held its 30th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 27 June 2026 at Le Meridien Hotel, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

This milestone AGM marked three decades of empowering women entrepreneurs and professionals while reflecting on the association's achievements, strengthening governance, and charting the course for the future. It also provided an opportunity for members to reconnect, exchange ideas, and reaffirm their commitment to advancing women's leadership, entrepreneurship, and professional excellence in Sabah.

On 27 June, the Sabah Women Entrepreneurs and Professional Association (SWEPA) was honoured to attend a prestigious networking dinner hosted by the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) Sabah Branch at Shangri-La Kota Kinabalu.

The evening brought together business leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals, providing an excellent platform to strengthen networks, foster strategic collaborations, and promote greater economic partnerships.

SWEPA extends our sincere appreciation to Datuk Dexter Lau, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kim Teck Cheong and President of the MCCC, Sabah branch for his gracious invitation and warm hospitality. SWEPA was honoured to attend the 13th Sabah Oil, Gas & Energy Conference & Exhibition (SOGCE) 2026, held on 25–26 June 2026 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), Kota Kinabalu.

The conference brought together industry leaders, government agencies, professionals, and stakeholders to discuss the latest developments, innovations, and opportunities within Sabah's oil, gas, and energy sector. It also served as an excellent platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and strengthening collaborations that contribute to the industry's sustainable growth.

We are especially proud to celebrate the remarkable achievement of Ms. Dolly Jimayol, the Organising Chairperson of SOGCE 2026, who is also a Past President of SWEPA. Her outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment were instrumental in the successful organisation of this prestigious event. A memorable weekend of friendship, relaxation, and meaningful connections!

SWEPA recently held our Members' Retreat 2026 in the beautiful town of Sepitang, Sabah, bringing together members for a well-deserved getaway to unwind, reconnect, and strengthen the bonds that unite our association.

The retreat was filled with fun recreational activities, engaging conversations, shared meals, and plenty of laughter. Beyond the enjoyable moments, it served as a valuable opportunity to foster teamwork, build lasting friendships, and reinforce the spirit of unity that defines SWEPA.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who participated and contributed to making this retreat a truly memorable and successful event. Your enthusiasm, support, and camaraderie made the experience even more meaningful.

It was a pleasure attending the Networking Dinner hosted by the Malaysian China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) Sabah Chapter on 27 May 2026 at Evergreen Country Music Saloon, Padimas Point.

The evening provided a valuable opportunity for members of MCCC, KCCI, and SWEPA to connect, exchange ideas, and strengthen business relationships within our vibrant community.
