Functional Athletics is a genre to explain a back to basics strength training and short intense interval exercises that are currently fast catching up enthusiasts among all walks of life and sports backgrounds. In the past 3 years alone, Kota Kinabalu has seen a rapid rise of functional athletics communities from just one to about 10 strong today, and other cities all over Sabah are catching the trend as well.
