🐾 Help Tebby Beat TVT 🐾

We were first alerted to a female stray dog suffering from TVT by a tourist back in April. Due to an overwhelming number of rescue and TNR cases, it took several weeks before we were finally able to secure her.

Yesterday, we successfully rescued her from Kg. Tebobon and named her Tebby. ❤️

Tebby is now under the care of MyVet Animal Clinic & Surgery, where she will undergo neutering and chemotherapy treatment. While many people assume TNR is simply about catching, neutering, and releasing, some cases require additional medical care to give these animals a real chance at recovery.

This is where we need your help.

Tebby's estimated treatment and boarding cost is RM1,680. This covers her neutering, chemotherapy treatments, and 30 days of boarding during her recovery period. Any contribution towards her care would be greatly appreciated.

If you would like to contribute towards Tebby's medical expenses, please send to:

RM300 for Month of May foster fee

Liam’s three kittens are now big, healthy, and very playful. They love to run around, chase toys, and bring a lot of joy wherever they go. Their energy and growing personalities make them even more adorable every day. We are still looking for sponsorship support for the month of May to help cover their care needs. The sponsorship amount is RM10 per day, which will go toward food, basic supplies, and their daily well-being. Any support would make a meaningful difference and help keep these kittens happy, safe, and well cared for throughout the month.

Happy News🙏😊.

Thanks to your recent contributions and generous support, we were able to clear the bill at one of our panel clinic. This means one less worry for us and, more importantly, continued care for the voiceless.

Seeing this bill marked 'Paid' was a huge relief, and it’s all thanks to YOU. Thank you for turning compassion into action. 💙

APPEAL FOR DONATIONS
Reference: Dorine TVT Dog
Amount Needed: RM1,934.40

Sometimes, our dog TNR work is straightforward — trap, neuter, and release. But not every case is that simple.

Dorine’s story is one of those exceptions.

She was found with a severe case of TVT (Transmissible Venereal Tumor). A kind feeder tried to help by treating what looked like a wound, hoping it would shrink. Unfortunately, TVT doesn’t heal that way — it only grows worse without proper treatment.

The only cure is chemotherapy.

Dorine went through 5 sessions of chemo, and we’re relieved to say she has now fully recovered and is finally fit for neutering.

Her total vet bill came up to RM1,934.40 — an amount far too heavy for a pensioner to bear alone.

We’ve assisted with arranging her treatment, but now we need your help to make this rescue complete — and to allow us to continue helping the next dog in need.

Would you be willing to contribute towards Dorine’s vet bill? No amount is too small. Every ringgit brings us one step closer.

Thank you for stepping in and standing with us.

On 25 April 2026 at 11:00 AM, BAWSS participated in JCI Moyog’s charity-sponsored trip to Persatuan Pengurusan Pusat Jagaan Oku Leshan (Leshan KK). The purpose of the visit was to support residents of the center through companionship and therapeutic comfort.

As part of the program, BAWSS’ rescued cats, Fattie and Panda, were brought into the “Oku World” to provide therapy of comfort and companionship. Their presence encouraged social interaction and offered emotional support, particularly for anxiety, PTSD, and Oku children. The cats’ interactions were also intended to help calm the mind, reduce stress, and strengthen community supportr einforcing the message that rescued animals are not merely strays, but can positively impact the people around them.

Cat Details
-Fattie (Gastro Cat): A gastro-related cat requiring a gastro diet for life to support survival and wellbeing.
- Panda (Hit-and-Run Cat): A cat rescued after a hit-and-run incident, with a pinned leg treated by Shakalaka Vet Care And Surgery 1483666-W

Both Fattie and Panda were survivors and played a meaningful role in bringing comfort and support to the community.
