Kelab Pencinta Kebersihan Air Sabah

Kelab Pencinta Kebersihan Air Sabah A Non-Governmental Organization by a group of citizens concerned with the quality of water supply to rural residences of Inanam, Menggatal and Telipok.

Kelab Pencinta Kebersihan Air Sabah (KPKA) also known as Society of Living Waters was registered on 1 July 2013 as a Non-Governmental Organization by a group of citizens concerned with the quality of water supply to rural residences of Inanam, Menggatal and Telipok. Having surveyed the area of focus, it was disheartening to know that 80% of the rural residents in these three regions do not have t

reated water supply but rely solely on rudimentary gravity water system- a delivery system of unpredictable water quality. Inspired by the United Nations General Assembly declaring 2013 as the United Nations International Year of Water Cooperation, the organization’s pilot study began earlier in June 2013 with data collation followed by identification of different methodologies on improving water quality and water management in these areas. Given the intrinsic nature of water as a transversal and universal element, we welcome you to partner us in our endeavour to fulfil our vision and mission, either as individuals or as part of your company’s Corporate Service Responsibility (CSR). Please kindly contact our Secretariat Tel/Fax: 088-426898 for further information.
