based in Kota Kinabalu. It's current members includes;

The main goal for the association is to maintain the highest standard of quality tattooing in
Kota Kinabalu and eventually, the whole of Sabah. The association aims to educate the public on subjects such as clinical hygiene as well as cross contamination, in the vicinity of their tattoo parlors. In specific, the use of autoclave or any form of heat sterilization at least, on all metal tubes and grips. The use of clip chords sleeves, wraps for the power supplies and squeeze bottles. Each studio must take the responsibility of providing at least a bio-hazard sharp bin container for proper disposal of used needles. And last but not least, each studio must provide a liability form which will be filed by both tattooist and clients explaining the standard operating procedure to customers before commencing the tattooing sessions. these are just a few example points of the procedure we want to administer for the practice. And Finally, S.T.A hopes that with the formation of this association will bring a better prospect from the public on tattooing itself as a from of art with a legitimate international hygiene standard for the practice.
