25/7/2026 - The Sabah Integrated Pest Management Association (SIPMA) proudly celebrated a historic milestone with the successful hosting of our 1st Installation Dinner, marking another important chapter in our journey of strengthening Sabah's licensed pest management industry.
We were deeply honoured to welcome our Guest of Honour, YB Datuk Ts. Mustapha Sakmud, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Sabah & Sarawak Affairs), whose presence and inspiring address served as a great encouragement to our Association and members.

During the evening, SIPMA officially installed its Executive Committee for the 2026β2028 term, reaffirming our shared commitment to serve the industry with integrity, professionalism and responsibility.
In his Chairman's Address, re-elected SIPMA Chairman Mervin Liew reflected on the Association's humble beginnings four years ago, sharing how one simple question led to the formation of Sabah's first unified association representing licensed pest management operators.
"Sabah needed a voice. Sabah needed an association."
The evening also provided an opportunity for meaningful dialogue on the future of Sabah's pest management industry, reaffirming the importance of constructive engagement and collaboration between Government, academia and industry in strengthening professional standards while recognising Sabah's unique industry landscape.
