It was a wonderful journey from Sibu to Kapit, traveling approximately two and a half hours to attend the Honor District Governor Luncheon. The trip was made even more meaningful by the warm hospitality and strong fellowship extended by the Lions members in Kapit.

I was truly touched by the Lions spirit demonstrated by every member. Their dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment to serving the community reflect the true essence of Lionism. The camaraderie and teamwork displayed throughout the event were inspiring and a testament to the strength of our Lions family.

Thank you to all Lions members of Kapit for your gracious hospitality and unwavering spirit of service. Together, we continue to make a positive difference in our communities.

🏡 Bringing Hope to Children and Families.

LCIF Chairperson Fabrício Oliveira and Lady Amariles Oliveira recently visited the Ronald McDonald House in Kota Kinabalu to witness the meaningful impact Lions are making in supporting children battling cancer and their families.

During the visit, discussions were held on the district’s upcoming expansion project to build additional rooms, enabling more children and families to benefit from a safe, comfortable, and supportive home away from home during their treatment journey.

This initiative reflects our continued commitment to serving those in need, bringing hope, comfort, and care to families facing difficult times.

Together, we serve. Together, we uplift lives. Together, we bring smiles and hope to our communities.

[Saving Lives Through Service ]

Led by the Lions Club of Kota Kinabalu Vintage, we proudly marked the installation of the 12th Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in Kota Kinabalu — and the very first AED to be placed at a petrol station.

This meaningful initiative is another step towards creating a safer community by ensuring lifesaving equipment is more accessible during emergencies.

The programme included an official plaque signing ceremony and a live AED & CPR demonstration, helping to raise public awareness and equip more people with essential emergency response skills.

A special thank you to LCIF Chairperson Fabrício Oliveira, Lady Amariles Oliveira, and District Governor Dato’ Winnie Lee for witnessing and supporting this important public health project.

Together, we serve. Together, we save lives. 💙🦁
