Dear family, friends, students, and parents of students of our beloved mother, Lai Ah Hee:
Thank you for never failing to ask about her well-being whenever we met - your concern and love are something we hold deeply in our hearts.
Our mother suffered a sudden stroke in the early hours of Tuesday, 18th March, and was rushed to the hospital. Despite a week of intensive medical care and mother's brave fight to the last moment, she was ultimately unable to overcome this critical battle.
The three of us, her children, honouring our mother’s final wishes, tearfully agreed to remove life support, allowing her to leave in dignity and peace, and to complete her final journey.
She was accompanied by her closest family members when she passed on, knowing she is dearly loved.
Details of the funeral arrangements will be shared in a separate notice.
