Kiwanis Down Syndrome Foundation - KLANG The Kiwanis Down Syndrome Foundation is committed to the welfare and education of children with Down Syndrome up to 6 years old.

We have our own medical form which must be completed by a medical doctor before the child enters the center. We place a great deal of importance on 6 monthly check-up and yearly eye/hearing tests for each child, so that any health problems can be quickly identified. We work closely with the Klang General Hospital where a lot of our children go for their medical check-up, we are also in contact wit

h some pediatric doctors at private hospitals who have knowledge about the health problems associated with Down Syndrome. The Klang Hospital maternity wards have our registration forms and when a child is born with Down Syndrome, the staff will help the parents to complete the form and ask them to ring and make an appointment with the center to register their child.
