The 2nd Master Locksmith Programme enrolled a total of five participants.
While limited in number, the programme places strong emphasis on quality, standards, and the establishment of a professional certification framework.
As the locksmith industry progresses towards modernisation and professionalisation,
this programme is designed with a structured curriculum, systematic training, and clear assessment criteria
to lay a foundation that is certifiable, measurable, and nationally recognisable.
The participants of this cohort have not only completed professional skills training,
but also represent a significant step towards the professionalisation, standardisation, and certification of the locksmith industry in Malaysia.
Their involvement reflects the industry’s transition from experience-based practice to a standards-driven professional discipline.
The long-term vision of the programme extends beyond the development of individual professionals.
In collaboration with academic institutions and industry bodies,
the programme aims to progressively establish a nationally recognised and sustainable locksmith certification system.
