TENGOK PENYU BERTELUR (TURTLE WATCHING)
Setiap spesies penyu laut mempunyai proses persarangan yang berbeza dan penyu agar sangat terkenal dengan proses persarangan yang lama dan sangat terperinci. Dari merangkak ke arah pantai, mengorek lubang badan, kemudian menggali lubang telur, melepaskan telur satu persatu, mengambus sarangnya dan diakhiri dengan 'upacara' mandi pasir.
Kenapa proses terakhir ini dipanggil 'mandi pasir'? Apakah kepentingannya terhadap kemandirian generasi seterusnya?🐢

Each sea turtle species follows its own nesting rhythm, and the green turtle is particularly known for a nesting process that is both lengthy and intricately precise.
It begins as the turtle hauls herself onto the beach, slowly carving out a body pit in the sand before carefully digging an egg chamber. One by one, the eggs are laid, after which the nest is covered and shaped back into the beach. The process ends with what is often described as a “sand shower”; a deliberate sweeping of sand using the flippers.
But why does this final behaviour matter and what role does it play in the survival of the next generation?🐢
