KENYATAAN MEDIA: TIADA RANCANGAN PEMANSUHAN AUKU, JANGAN BANGGA LAUNG REFORMASI

Pertubuhan Mahasiswa Kongres Gombak (CONGRESS GOMBAK) melahirkan kekesalan terhadap kenyataan Menteri KPT kerajaan Madani, Dr Zambry Kadir yang telah mengulangi komitmen untuk terus mempertahankan kerelevanan Akta Universiti dan Kolej Universiti 1971 (AUKU). Dikala seluruh warga KPT termasuk beliau sendiri berbangga dengan pengumuman reformasi pendidikan dalam Rancangan Pendidikan Tinggi Malaysia 2026-2035 (RPTM 2026-2035) yang diumumkan pada 20 Januari lepas, beliau sendiri telah mengebumikan semula kebanggaan itu dengan mengulangi komitmen untuk mempertahankan AUKU. Semua sedia maklum bahawa AUKU adalah sebuah mimpi ngeri bagi mahasiswa dan IPTA apabila akta itu diwujudkan dengan niatnya untuk menghalang kebebasan akademik dan aktivisme mahasiswa.

[THE WEST AND ITS CORRODING IMPERIALISM]

In between the old times and now, whether to work together or stay on our ground — the horror of Western imperialism and Zionism has been growing into nothing but the rotting veins of civilisation. It is the duty of us to go against such injustice. And if not by hand, by tongue or our heart. Remember, such atrocities has started not yesterday or last year — it’s been years and decades of history.

Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu? They are just one of them, continuing the oppresive policies and actions.

KELEWATAN NOTIS CUTI DAN LIDV DI MAHALAH : RSD BUAT HAL LAGI

Pertubuhan Mahasiswa Congress Gombak mengikuti rapat apa yang sedang berlaku melibatkan pihak RSD yang terlau lambat memberi notis cuti dan LiDV kepada mahasiswa. Seperti sebelum ini, pihak RSD selalunya akan mula mengeluarkan notis ini pada beberapa minggu sebelum tamat minggu sesi pelajaran sebagai persediaan kepada mahasiswa untuk menghadapi cuti inter-semester. Namun sehingga ke hari ini, RSD masih gagal untuk mewar-warkan notis sedemikian walaupun sesi pengajaran telah sampai ke ‘revision week’.

Dalam masa yang sama, terdapat ura-ura yang berlegar kencang di kalangan mahasiswa bahawa akan berlaku perubahan kepada peraturan LiDV yang mungkin melibatkan bayaran kompaun dan sebagainya. Merujuk kepada notis LiDV 2024/2025, tidak ada sebarang kompaun yang akan dikenakan sekiranya memilih untuk tidak memindahkan barang. Notis LiDV 2025/2026 p**a menyatakan bahawa ada kompaun yang akan dikenakan sekiranya mahasiswa berlakku sedemikian. Pendek kata, caj LiDV akan dikenakan bersama kompaun, terus menambah beban mahasiswa tanpa keterangan atau kenyataan oleh pihak RSD. Kelembapan pihak RSD dalam menguruskan hal ehwal mahasiswa ini menyukarkan mahasiswa sekaligus mempamerkan ketidakcekapan dan ketidaktelusan RSD dalam melaksanakan tugas sebagai badan yang bertanggungjawab terhadap hal ehwal mahallah di UIAM. Adakah RSD sedang mengulangi sikap yang sama seperti yang pernah berlaku sewaktu mimpi ngeri isu Awlawiyyat? Mengapa sering mengambil masa yang terlalu lama dalam bertindak, sama ada pengeluaran notis mahupun keterangan terhadap sesuatu perubahan?

Kami mendesak pihak RSD untuk bergerak pantas, berlaku jujur dan terbuka atas apa-apa arahan yang akan disampaikan supaya mahasiswa dapat memahami dan bertindak sewajarnya dengan arahan yang diberikan. Kami juga meminta agar pihak RSD segera mengeluarkan notis cuti dan LiDV agar mahasiswa dapat merancang cuti mereka dengan lebih baik menjelang cuti semester yang akan datang.

📣 Congress Gombak di Kongres 2025

Pada 12 Disember 2025, Congress Gombak menghantar wakil rasmi ke Kongres 2025: Dari Anak Muda Untuk Rakyat Malaysia, platform penting bagi mahasiswa memperjuangkan isu-isu kritikal seperti kelestarian alam sekitar, maruah manusia, ketelusan pentadbiran kerajaan, autonomi mahasiswa, dan masa depan pendidikan tinggi negara.

Dalam Sidang 1 – Mahasiswa Merakyat & Masa Depan Pendidikan Tinggi Negara (Jumaat, 12 Disember, 9.00 malam), empat usul utama dibentangkan:
1️⃣ Menuntut Keadilan Sosial untuk Generasi Marginal dan Terpinggir
2️⃣ Wakil Pelajar di Setiap Kampus Wajib Memperjuangkan Isu Masyarakat Terpinggir
3️⃣ Pelaksanaan Cuti Khas Haid & Pengukuhan Polisi Kesihatan & Keselamatan Wanita di IPTA Malaysia
4️⃣ Majlis Perundingan Pelajar Kebangsaan (MPPK) Perlu Dibubarkan

Congress Gombak menyokong usul-usul yang selaras dengan prinsipnya, dan mengekalkan pendirian bebas bagi usul lain. Congress Gombak menegaskan mahasiswa wajib berpihak kepada rakyat dan terus memperjuangkan keadilan sosial.

💡 Lebih banyak usul berkaitan isu-isu penting akan dibentangkan pada 13-14 Disember di .my Jangan lupa turun beramai-ramai!

Congress believes in the power of the students, and how we can contribute under one principle — Unionism.

Here’s the major question — how can the university administration, after governing for decades, still be unable to resolve these countless issues? This is beyond worrying!

Congress believes that we need the right person, to be the ‘director’ for this whole ‘film’ — to lead the whole eco-system of the Union. Working with every inch of stakeholders in this IIUM community to challenge the status quo of the administration.
