🩺 CPR/AED Training at SMJK Pei Yuan Kampar – Empowering Our Students with Life-Saving Skills! 🩸

On 28th September 2024, SMJK Pei Yuan Kampar hosted a CPR/AED Training session for our students, empowering them with essential skills to respond in emergency situations. 🚑💓

The hands-on training equipped our students with the knowledge of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and how to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), ensuring they are ready to act quickly if someone’s life is at risk.

Here’s what we learned: ✅ How to perform CPR effectively
✅ How to use the AED in emergencies
✅ How to stay calm and act fast in critical situations

🏸 CPR/AED Training at Master Badminton Club - A Step Towards Safer Play! 🏸

On 13th October 2024, Master Badminton Club, Jalan Kuala Kangsar, Ipoh, successfully conducted a CPR/AED Training session for our coaches and players! This event was oranized by SM1H Badminton Tea in collboration with PASAL and Master Badminton Club.🧑‍⚕️💓

The event was a valuable opportunity to equip our community with life-saving skills. Thanks to the hands-on training, everyone now knows how to use CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and operate the AED (Automated External Defibrillator) in case of emergencies.

We’re also proud to announce that an AED has now been installed at the club for immediate access during any critical situations! 🚑

On June 29, 2024, in Taiwan, a dramatic and life-saving event unfolded during a basketball game halftime recess that underscored the critical importance of quick thinking and preparedness.

An engineer participating in the game suddenly collapsed. Without hesitation, his team mates sprang into action, performing immediate CPR and utilizing an AED. Miraculously, after just 5 minutes of resuscitation efforts, the victim regained consciousness. This swift response highlighted the vital role of bystander CPR in saving lives before professional medical help arrives.

Following the successful resuscitation, the engineer received prompt medical treatment, including a coronary stent procedure. We are relieved to report that the individual is now in stable condition and recovering.

This incident serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of CPR training and having access to life-saving equipment in public spaces. It also demonstrates the incredible impact of community support and quick action in emergencies.

We mourn the passing of a young talent, a 17-year-old China player, during the Asian Junior Badminton Mixed Team Championships in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Our hearts go out to their family, friends, and teammates during this unimaginably difficult time.

This tragic incident reminds us of the fragility of life and underscores the importance of being prepared for emergencies.
