KSS Area Cadet Camp 2026 has come to an end! Here's what happened if you're wondering👀

🏕️Day 1:
Camp kicked off with a full day of structured activities. Members put their first-aid knowledge to the test in the Casualty Simulation module: lecture, practical and exam, before group practice for Group Performance closed the night.

🏕️Day 2:
A full day of Cookery & Nutrition: lecture, practical, and exam. Energy remained high with a Campfire and Group Performance wrapping up the evening.

🏕️Day 3:
A close with Morning Exercise, packing up, and the formal Closing Ceremony in St. John Ambulance Malaysia full uniform.

Over three days (30/5/26-1/6/26) at Sedayu Green Ventures, Hulu Langat, Selangor, KSS members were pushed to grow, physically, academically and as a unit. Well done to every KSS member who took part!

We were also honoured to have our ex-member Rashmita from Convent Kajang return to camp as a motivational speaker. A model, social activist, and Miss Charm 2024, she shared her journey and left our members with plenty to think about.

From Area to the National, four teams rose together, and together, we made history.

But this would not have happened without the people standing behind us, allowing us to march forward with confidence and without doubt. We can never thank everyone enough for the guidance, effort, and trust you placed in us, but we would still like to express our gratitude once again.

To our leaders, thank you for entrusting us and providing the resources and support we needed. To our trainers, thank you for your patience and dedication in imparting your knowledge and skills. To our coaches, thank you for standing by us through every up and down. To our logistics team, helpers, and seniors, thank you for being the backbone of this journey and ensuring we always had what we needed. Special thanks dedicated to all parents who have trusted us with your children; State and Area Officers, School Principals and PK KOKOs, Teacher Advisors, Friends and Family for your unwavering support and encouragement.

Looking back at the Prize-Giving Ceremony, moments like these still feel magical. We hope we have made everyone proud, and have also inspired others to embark on this meaningful journey where personal development and growth are beyond measurable.

We are First Aiders. Behind us is a service to humanity. And with all of you beside us, we stand taller than ever. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you.

KSS SWEPT THE BOARD IN NATIONAL COMPETITION

Well done to all 4 of our teams representing Selangor State for the hard work and commitment shown throughout the competition. Very proud of what the teams have achieved together 👏🏼

Thank you to our Selangor State HQ, all officers, trainers, seniors, and supporters who worked behind the scenes and stood with the teams throughout the preparation and competition period.

Special thanks to Tn. P**n Yau Shin, Tn. Cheah Chun Wai, Dr. Lee Kian Yee, Dr. Chen Lian Ee, Pn. Kate Koon, Tn. Chong Mun Kit, and Pn. Low Sue Ying for the time, effort, and guidance given to the teams along the way.

KSS will now go on to represent Malaysia at the Asia Pacific Competition in Hong Kong. Wishing our Nursing and Ambulance teams the very best as they carry the Malaysian flag onto the international stage 👏🏼

KSS 72nd Community Outreach was carried out this morning at PKKII Happy Garden, KL, as a revisit programme.

Around 50 patients received influenza vaccines during the session.

It was good to be back and continue serving the community here, with support of our donors, Michelin Malaysia, OCBC Cares, IMU Cares, and a donor who contributed Subway meals for the team. Our team was on the ground to help ensure the session ran smoothly.

KSS 71st Mobile Clinic was carried out on 9th May in conjunction with the World Lupus Day event by Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur, with 30 patients screened during the programme.
