How to solemnized your marriage at BMSM Kajang?
There are TWO phases.
Phase ONE can be completed in one day or half a day depending on the crowd in JPN office. Both persons need to be present throughout the process. Get ready a passport sized photograph each and photostat of latest MyKad front and back on A4 sized paper each, non-colour and original size.(No enlargement) Ensure that the photostat copies are CLEAR and READABLE.
1) Go to the nearest JPN office and request for the marriage registration form(KC01F). It is given FOC. Must inform that you wish to solemnize the marriage outside JPN office.(Eg. BMSM Kajang)
2) Fill up the form and stick the photographs.
3) Look for any nearby Commissioner of Oath Office and take the oath there. (Payment needed).
4) Go back to JPN office for verification of marital status. The photostats copy of MyKad will also be certified true copy by JPN officer. (Payment needed and remember to collect the receipt)
5) BMSM Kajang registration code is 10087031. Mention this number if the JPN officer request for it.
6) Ready to submit your verified form at BMSM Kajang
You have six months to solemnize your marriage.
End of phase ONE.
Phase TWO also can be complete in half a day, usually in the evening. Again both persons need to be present for the process.
Please prepare these supporting documents to bring along.
1) The verified JPN marriage registration form, JPN receipt, JPN certified photostat copies of MyKad and own MyKads.
2) Make a photostat copy of chosen witnesses LATEST MyKads, front and back. All photostated on A4 sized paper, non-color and original size. (No enlargement.) Each person needs own witness. Ensure that the photostat copies are CLEAR and READABLE.
**The chosen witness can be anyone trustworthy and above 21 years of age on the day of the ROM. They must be of sound mind too.**
Submission of completed forms can be made on EVERY Tuesday at BMSM Kajang @ 8.00 pm. However, an appointment MUST be made prior to your visit.
In summary, each person will have 2 copies of photocopies to bring along. (Certified MyKads photocopy by JPN and photo copy of chosen witnesses Mykads.) Ensure that the photostat copies are CLEAR and READABLE.

1) Identify yourself and share your auspicious ROM date.
2) We shall reply back with its availability status, if available, please proceed to next step.
3) Make an appointment to submit the above documents. Service by appointment only.
4) During the appointment, the registrar will scrutinized the documents, re-confirmed the date for the solemnization, issue appointment letter, explain the processes on the solemnization day, collect payment(CASH only) and issue a receipt.
5) We conduct ROM on DAILY basis and selected Holidays .(Subject to availability and T&C being fulfilled)
6) If you are a Sarawakian, kindly request and an additional document called N.A.M.E.S while you're at JPN. It is a verification from Sarawak JPN.
