18 February 2025 – In conjunction with International Childhood Cancer Day (15 February), the Kajang Childhood Cancer Fund (managed by the Lions Club of Kajang) extended financial support of RM1,000 per family to four B40 families with children undergoing pediatric cancer treatment at Ronald McDonald House, Hospital Kuala Lumpur.

We were grateful to have Pn Siti from RMHC with us, whose generosity and support helped make this initiative a success.

We hope that this contribution provides some relief to the families during this challenging time and serves as a source of encouragement in their fight against cancer.

28 September 2024 : Walkathon Hero Muda Kanser 2024, organized by Hospital Tunku Azizah KL and the Kajang Childhood Cancer Fund (managed by the Lions Club of Kajang). This event was held to raise funds and offer support to the young, brave warriors battling cancer.

The Selangor Lions Clubs and Selangor Leo Clubs showed tremendous support by helping to set up the Walkathon and managing a booth to promote the Lions' image to the public.

Lions, Leos, hospital staff, and volunteers from KIDS (Kesatuan Ibubapa Dan Kanak-kanak Kanser) are collaborating to distribute race packs for the upcoming Walkathon Hero Muda Kanser 2024 at the Main Lobby of Hospital Tunku Azizah.

24 September 2024 : Kajang Childhood Cancer Fund (managed by the Lions Club of Kajang) co-organised the “School Shoes and Bags Donation Ceremony” in collaboration with the Lions Club of Kelang and Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) at SJK (T) Ladang Bukit Cheraka, Jeram.

This Back2School Project, together with the Childhood Cancer Awareness Talk conducted by District Chairperson Lion Balu, was made possible through the joint efforts of the Lions Club of Kelang, RMHC, and the Kajang Childhood Cancer Fund.

Our sincere appreciation goes to the District GET Coordinator and Founder of the Kajang Childhood Cancer Fund Lion Simon Tan for coordinating this project with all parties, and to Pn Siti from RMHC for her generous support. RMHC graciously donated school bags filled with stationery and school shoes for all the students.

A special thank you to McDonald's Puncak Alam store for their generous donation of McDonald's Chicken Burger sets, bringing joy to the students and lifting their spirits.

A heartfelt thank you to Organizing Chairperson Lion Dato Saw and his Lions team for their exceptional dedication to this initiative.
