JCI South Key JCI is a non-profit organization of young active citizens age 18 to 40 who are engaged and committed to creating impact in their communities.

JCI South Key was monumental as Johor was undoubtedly a jewel state located in the South of peninsular Malaysia, and Key, on the other hand, does mean something, that is:
K – Knowledge
E – Engage
Y – Young Active Citizen

In conjunction with the 4 areas of opportunities that JCI has, JCI South Key intended to be the key to unlocking these opportunities to create values for our members:

- Busines

s: To create network and linkages, cultivating entrepreneur mindset to create a larger business network in the area through business introduction & referrals.
- Community: Using JCI Active Citizen Framework to analyze the root cause of the challenges, together with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG), we can create sustainable solutions to make the world a better place to live in.
- Individual: To educate members and give them a platform to learn and grow through our JCI and external courses.
- International: Introducing global opportunities, and connections with members outside our country.

Talk 5.0 Inspiring CEO Sharing was truly a meaningful and inspiring evening, bringing together young leaders, entrepreneurs, and members for valuable sharing, networking, and leadership learning. With over 50 participants joining the session, the event created a great platform for connection, idea exchange, and personal growth. 🤝

✨ Summit of Synergy 2.0 was truly a meaningful and inspiring evening filled with leadership sharing, business insights, networking, and cross-chapter friendship together with our sisterhood chapter, JCI Sha Tin.

With more than 50 participants joining the session, the event created a positive platform for young leaders, entrepreneurs, and members to connect, exchange ideas, and build valuable relationships. 🤝

We would like to sincerely thank our Guest of Honour, Puan Wong Foong Yee, for taking the time to grace the event and support youth entrepreneurship and leadership initiatives. Your presence truly added meaning and encouragement to the session. 🌟

The evening became even more impactful through the valuable sharing sessions by our invited speakers and guests, including Potter Ka Kai Fong and Alex Tan Chu Peng during the JCI TOYM Journey Sharing, followed by an inspiring OMG Sharing 6.0 session led by Randy Lee, as well as an insightful Business Financial Sharing by Terence Yew.

Through these sessions, participants gained deeper exposure in leadership growth, entrepreneurship, financial awareness, and personal development. 💡📈

What an amazing and meaningful 3 days with our JCI South Key family! 💙

On Day 1, our Local President Evan Tan attended the President Summit and proudly presented our Q1 achievements and activities. At the same time, our members showed great sportsmanship through Pickleball Men’s Double Braden & Stephen , two teams of Women’s Double, and also E-sport Honor of Kings! Yuxin, Scarlett, Samuel, Marcus, Stephen🎮🏓

On Day 2, our Oregon Debate team Yuxin, Dylen, Samuel, Marcus successfully entered the final round after months of preparation. It was their first time joining a debate competition, and we are truly proud of their courage and growth. Our outstanding member Katherine and Local Secretary Stephen also represented JCI South Key in Chinese and English Public Speaking. Our Executive Vice President Marcus and Vice President Individual Pek Khang also took part in the Parliamentary Quiz.

Not forgetting JCI in Business, led by our VP Business Natan, creating a meaningful platform for JCI members to connect, exchange, and explore business opportunities. The night continued with the much-anticipated Welcoming Night, where our Talent Battle representatives proudly performed for JCI South Key! 🔥Joyce, Scarlett, Katherine, Meiay, Rachel, Yuxin, Peiching

On Day 3, we attended the General Assembly Meeting, where we proudly indicated our Past President JCI Senator Joey Lee as the 2027 National Executive Vice President. The convention ended beautifully with the Gala Dinner, where our participants returned with great achievements and awards. Every contestant who joined brought back something meaningful, and you are all truly amazing! 🏆

After everything ended, we gathered for a perfect debrief session to share our experiences, reflections, and growth throughout the convention.

At the end of the day, winning is not the only thing that matters.
What matters most is that our members enjoyed the journey, gave their best, stepped out of their comfort zone, and grew through the experience.

That is our biggest achievement. 💙
