On 25 April, we have sent four teams to the Annual State-Level First Aid & Nursing Competition in Batu Pahat.

Outstanding results were achieved across all categories:
* Ambulance Senior (SMK Sultan Ismail) – 3rd Place Overall
* Ambulance Junior (Maktab Sultan Abu Bakar) – Overall Champion
* Nursing Senior (SMK IJ Convent) – Overall Champion
* Nursing Junior (SMK Sultan Ismail) – Overall Champion

With Johor Bahru emerging as the overall Champion, three teams will represent Johor at the National Level Competition. Congratulations to all teams, and all the best to Team JB in the next stage.

The Area First Aid and Nursing Competition was successfully held at SMK Taman Desa Jaya on 28 March 2026.

Thank you to all SJAM officers, Dr Foo and team from Hospital Sultanah Aminah, Johor Bahru and Hospital Pasir Gudang, Clinical Instructors from ILKKM Johor Bahru for serving as judges for the event.
Not to forget the headmistress and team of SMK Taman Desa Jaya for their continuous support in making this event a success.

A special appreciation to all committee members for your tireless efforts, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment behind the scenes. Your dedication was instrumental in making this event a true success.

Congratulations and well done to all cadets for your effort 👍🏽

We would like to extend our wishes to the winning team who will be representing us in the upcoming State level First Aid and Nursing Competition on 25th April 2026, in Batu Pahat.

Lastly, great appreciation to Dr Sean Thum for being able to free up some of his time to attend the closing ceremony of this competition.

[Online Pre-Competition Course 2026: Mission Accomplished] 🚑

St. John Ambulance of Malaysia, Kawasan Johor Bahru has successfully concluded our 4-day Online Pre-Competition Course (19th – 22nd January 2026) for our cadets!

This intensive course was designed to sharpen skills and prepare our cadets for the upcoming competition season. Over the past few days, participants dove deep into crucial topics, including:

✅ Trauma Life Support
✅ Medical Emergencies
✅ Various other competition-relevant scenarios.

A massive thank you to our dedicated speakers who shared their invaluable expertise and time with us, Dr. Alexander Tan Zhi Sheng, Mr. Chew Sau Yang, Miss Sophia Ang.

We hope all cadets gained new knowledge and confidence. Good luck with your preparations for the upcoming competitions! 💪✨
