On 21 June 2026, our area proudly hosted an Appreciation Luncheon to celebrate and recognize the dedication, commitment, and hard work of our competition teams throughout their journey from the Area Competition to the National Competition.

This gathering was not only an opportunity for members to come together and reflect on their achievements, but also a chance to express our gratitude to the parents who have continuously supported them behind the scenes.

We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our Area Vice President, Mr. Lew Sze How for generously sponsoring this event and making this meaningful gathering possible. Your support and encouragement towards the development of our members are truly appreciated.

May this luncheon serve as a reminder that every effort, regardless of the outcome, is valued and appreciated. We look forward to seeing all of you continue to grow, serve, and excel in the years ahead.

National Competition 2026

The Area of Johor Bahru proudly sent 3 teams to the Annual National-Level First Aid & Nursing Competition. Congratulations to all teams for their hard work and achievements! 🏅

• Nursing Junior – 1st Place (Long Case), 2nd Place (Short Case), 2nd Overall
• Ambulance Junior – 3rd Place (Uniform Inspection & Foot Drill)
• Nursing Senior – 3rd Place (Long Case)

Individual Achievements:
• Cheng Min En – 2nd Place (Theory for Nursing Junior)
• Tneoh Zi Yu – 3rd Place (Theory for Nursing Junior)
• Delishia Arshini – 3rd Place (Theory for Nursing Senior)

Thank you to all competing teams for your dedication and perseverance throughout this journey.

On 25 April, we have sent four teams to the Annual State-Level First Aid & Nursing Competition in Batu Pahat.

Outstanding results were achieved across all categories:
* Ambulance Senior (SMK Sultan Ismail) – 3rd Place Overall
* Ambulance Junior (Maktab Sultan Abu Bakar) – Overall Champion
* Nursing Senior (SMK IJ Convent) – Overall Champion
* Nursing Junior (SMK Sultan Ismail) – Overall Champion

With Johor Bahru emerging as the overall Champion, three teams will represent Johor at the National Level Competition. Congratulations to all teams, and all the best to Team JB in the next stage.

The Area First Aid and Nursing Competition was successfully held at SMK Taman Desa Jaya on 28 March 2026.

Thank you to all SJAM officers, Dr Foo and team from Hospital Sultanah Aminah, Johor Bahru and Hospital Pasir Gudang, Clinical Instructors from ILKKM Johor Bahru for serving as judges for the event.
Not to forget the headmistress and team of SMK Taman Desa Jaya for their continuous support in making this event a success.

A special appreciation to all committee members for your tireless efforts, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment behind the scenes. Your dedication was instrumental in making this event a true success.

Congratulations and well done to all cadets for your effort 👍🏽

We would like to extend our wishes to the winning team who will be representing us in the upcoming State level First Aid and Nursing Competition on 25th April 2026, in Batu Pahat.

Lastly, great appreciation to Dr Sean Thum for being able to free up some of his time to attend the closing ceremony of this competition.
