Pada bulan Mei tahun 2011, Pusat Penyelidikan Kanser Antarabangsa (IARC) , badan subsidiari Pertubuhan Kesihatan Sedunia (WHO) telah menyenaraikan radiasi gelombang elektromagnet sebagai 2B bahan karsinogenik yang disyaki. Mengikut statistik dari Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia, terdapat 10, 019 buah sekolah dan 5,272,487 orang pelajar di negara kita. Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia membenarkan menara telekomunikasi dibina di kawasan sekolah. Pada masa yang sama, 5,272,487 orang anak murid dan 412,720 orang guru, penduduk setempat belum diambil kira, terpaksa didedahkan radiasi gelombang elektromagnet . Kami menuntut Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia menggantikan menara telekomunikasi dengan kabel fiber optik. Demi kesihatan kanak-kanak dan penduduk tempatan, kami menolak pembinaan menara telekomunikasi di kawasan sekolah dan komuniti. Diseru orang ramai memberi sambutan yang baik untuk memindahkan menara tersebut.
