Persatuan Prihatin Komuniti Johor Bahru (PPKJB) or Johor Bahru Community Care (JBCC) aims to provide

Persatuan Prihatin Komuniti Johor Bahru was established in November 2015. Our objectives are to help the less fortunate with services such as organising courses, provide counselling, conducting educational workshops. We organise outreach activities for the community that are focused on educational, cultural, social, moral and welfare. Our goal is to set up a Relationship Centre to improve communication between family members, teaching them how to deal with difficult situations and how to maintain a balanced family life. Some of our programmes include
- “The Parenting Children Course”
- “Give With Friends” Blood Donation Drive
- Food For Needy (collaboration with HSA)
“Adopt-A-Family”
“Kembara Kasih Amal Aidilfitri”
- Wishing Well (collaboration with HSA)
“Back To School”
- Various Support For Children Homes

On 16th September 2026, the PPKJB team and our incredible volunteers headed to Jeti Kampung Orang Asli Kuala Masai for a day dedicated to health, community, and wellness!
We were thrilled to bring essential healthcare services directly to the villagers, hosting a wide range of activities including:
🔹 Glucose & Blood Pressure Check-ups
🔹 Doctors’ & Pharmacists’ Consultations
🔹 Eye Check-ups
🔹 Deworming for children under 12
🔹 Breast Cancer Awareness Talk
🔹 Fun, interactive children’s activities focused on healthy eating and foot hygiene 🍎👣
The overwhelming turnout of 148 pax completely blew us away and deeply encouraged our team. ❤️
An event of this scale would not have been possible without the immense generosity of our sponsors and donors. To everyone who contributed—your support truly made a difference in these lives. Thank you for standing with us! 🙏✨

As part of our monthly outreach, we had the opportunity to visit families in need and deliver essential groceries to support them.

This May PPKJB sponsored 10 youths for a leadership camp organised by Rotary Club. This gives them the opportunity to learn lessons that will be valuable for them in the future, and enjoy some good time together

With grateful hearts, in collaboration with Ladies Ministry we collected gently used clothing to support people in need — bringing comfort, dignity, and hope to those Myanmarese and patients in hospital wards.

Every month, we provide 150 care packs containing children’s toiletries, kids’ snacks, and women’s toiletries to Hospital Permai and Hospital Sultanah Aminah. These small gestures are meant to uplift patients, bring comfort, and put a smile on their faces.
