On November 8th, we successfully conducted a Budget 2026 briefing for the public. The theme of the event is ‘Building Resilient Business for Tomorrow. The event was delivered by Mr. Lam Kwai Soon from Cheng & Co. and Ms Janice Lee from AHAM Capital.

Lots of insights we have learn. Among them were:

1) Retaining your talents through the PRS vesting scheme
2) Optimising business revenue via tax incentives
3) Supporting the Malaysian economy through tax planning

Hopefully, we have delivered a great event for Malaysians to nourish their financial literacy. Till we meet again in the future!

Tomorrow, FPAM Johor Chapter will be in University of Southampton Malaysia. We will be conducting financial literacy talk to the students. Among the topics that we are going to cover is:

1) What is financial planning and why should you do it now?

2) How much is inflation in Malaysia and the cause of it?

3) Time, Value of Money

4) Asset classes

5) The role of Financial Planner in Malaysia’s economy

Welcoming Our New Committee for Term 2025–2027

The Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM) Johor Chapter held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) recently, where members gathered to reflect on the chapter’s progress, share ideas, and elect a new committee to lead us into the future.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of the new FPAM Johor Committee for the 2025–2027 term. This new team brings together passionate professionals who are committed to strengthening the financial planning profession in the southern region.

👏 A heartfelt thank you to our outgoing committee for their dedication and service. Your efforts have laid a strong foundation for growth, and we are excited to continue building on that momentum.
