The 7 Fundamental Principle 七大基本原则1. Humanity 人道 - We serve people not systems 我们服务人群, 而非制度All activities are in the spirit of preventing and alleviating human suffering. The Movement promotes mutual understanding and lasting peace amongst people.国际红十字与红新月组织的本意是不加歧视地救护战地伤员. 在国际和国内2方面, 不论在任何地方, 都努力防止并减轻人们的疾苦. 本组织的宗旨是保护人的生命和健康; 保障人类尊严; 促进人与人之间的相互了解, 友谊, 合作与持久和平.2. Neutrality 中立 - We care for victims innocent or not 我们一向主动, 却从不偏袒The Movement works for all without discrimination on the grounds of nationality, race, religious beliefs, class or political opinion, giving priority to those with the greatest need.为了继续得到所有人的信任, 本组织在双方冲突之间不采取立场, 任何时候也不涉及参与政治, 种族, 宗教或意识形态的争论.4. Independence 独立 - We are directed by need not by kings 我们会面向需要, 却不必向贵族低头The Movement is independent.
