Lions Clubs International Peace Poster Contest Thoungh the international peace poster contest,children around the world have the opportunity to share their feelings and thoughts about peace centered around the year's theme. The International Peace Contests are made up of two unique contests sponsored by Lions clubs — the International Peace Poster Contest and the International Peace Essay Contest. Young people ages 11-13 can share their creativity in expressing what peace means through art and writing. Grand prize winners for each contest receive an award, a monetary prize of US$5,000 and an invitation to a Lions International event. For the International Peace Poster Contest, 23 merit winners will receive a certificate and a monetary prize of US$500.

Thoungh the international peace poster contest,children around the world have the opportunity to share their feelings and thoughts about peace centered around the year's theme. PEACE POSTER/ESSAY CONTEST 2018 “KINDNESS MATTER”

Celebrating 31 Years of Peace For the last 31 years Lions clubs around the world have proudly sponsored the Lions International Peace Poster Contest in local schools and youth groups. This art contest for kids encourages young people worldwide to express their visions of peace.

The theme of the 2018-2019 Peace Poster Contest is "Kindness Matters." Students, ages 11, 12 or 13 as of November 15, are eligible to participate.

Peace Poster Contest Judging Each poster is judged on originality, artistic merit and expression of the theme.

Posters advance through several judging levels: local, district, multiple district and international. At the international level, judges from the art, peace, youth, education and media communities select one grand prize winner and 23 merit award winners.
