What an fruitful CNY meeting we had at Chapter Meeting #442!

Our Toastmaster of the Day, Gan Hong Seng, PM3, steered the meeting smoothly, weaving the theme Gratitude Across Cultures beautifully throughout the session. The message reminded us that gratitude is something we must cultivate intentionally, regardless of background or tradition.

A highlight of the meeting was LD3 Ong Hong Siong, who delivered his project speech on “Better Speaker Series – Impromptu Speech.” His sharing provided valuable techniques and practical insights on thinking on our feet and speaking confidently without preparation — an essential skill for every Toastmaster.

We were delighted to welcome our guest, Rueben Raj, and hope you experienced the warmth and learning spirit of our chapter.

Wonderful joint meeting with Kunshan West Toastmasters club from D128 China. New experience for members attending as their format is slightly different. They also have a quiz master session where members need to pay attention to the meeting to answer questions & the member who gets the most correct answer is recognised. It was first time the club had a joint meeting with club from China and members can look forward to more such joint meetings. We had fun.
