Cybersecurity Awareness Programme

The legal professions is a prime target for cybercriminals with law firms keeping all forms of sensitive client data, high value information, and details of financial transactions. With that in mind, the Johore Bar in collaboration with KASPERSKY is presenting this session which is aimed at Partners, Lawyers, IT & Admin staff and Compliance Officers.
The session aims to:
• Instil a Cybersecurity Mindset – build a security-first culture
• Prepare for Cyber-resilience – strengthen people, processes and technology within the firm to withstand, respond and recover from cyber incidents
• Learn and Reflect on Cybersecurity – case study of actual cyber incidents in legal firms and the lessons they reveal
• Gain Self-Awareness – understand common threats, risky behaviours and how to protect yourself and your firm daily
• Understand Business and Governance Impact – Legal, regulatory, and reputational consequences and ramifications of cyber incidents
This session will greatly benefit legal practitioners in Johor by enhancing the legal firm’s understanding and knowledge of Cybersecurity and building a Cyber-resilient surrounding. We therefore encourage all members to attend.
