On 7 April 2026, 8 Lions members from the Lions Club of Johor Jaya (LCJJ), together with Lions Club of JB Premier, Lions Club Teratai Linda conducted a meaningful handover and site at 10 Am till 12 Pm follow up at Kampung Orang Asli Teluk Jawa after the recent fire incident.

With hearts united in service, essential items such as wooden planks for rebuilding, homes .

This effort marks an important shift from emergency relief to rebuilding lives. While some houses are in progress, there are still several homes yet to be completed. The journey is ongoing, and every bit of support matters.

The wood used for houses built over water, known as Kayu Kemuning, is soaked in treatment solution for several days to strengthen its durability ensuring safer and longer-lasting homes for the community.

This project is more than just aid.
It is about restoring hope, dignity, and a place to call home.Together, we continue to serve not only with our hands, but with our hearts in action .

We welcome volunteers to help complete the remaining houses. Let’s rebuild lives together.

Following the site survey conducted on 7 April, Lions Club of Johor Jaya together with Lions Club JB Premier , Lions Club Of Senai have identified the essential requirements needed for rebuilding homes at Teluk Jawa after the recent fire incident.

🏠 At present, there are still a few houses yet to be rebuilt, and families remain in urgent need of proper shelter.

Based on our findings, the rebuilding process requires:
• Suitable wood materials for stilt structures
• Zinc roofing and basic construction materials
• Essential utilities support (temporary electricity & water access)

This project is more than rebuilding houses it is about restoring hope, safety, and dignity for the affected families. Total of 6 Lions member are join .

With sincerely call upon Lions members, Friends of Lions and the public to continue supporting this meaningful cause. Every contribution, big or small, brings us one step closer to giving these families a place to call home again.

Together, we serve. Together, we rebuild.

27 March 2026 We successfully fundraising Canvas Bag Charity at Restoran Pekin, in conjunction with the club’s 32nd Anniversary Celebration.

This meaningful moment was initiated with the support of CanHOPE Johor Bahru, who prepared 154 beautifully that hand-painted canvas Bag by every Lions member and volunteers,the bags were sold out 145 pieces selling with Rm 20 with total funds Of Rm2900 all during the event to raise funds in support of cancer patients.

The project was led by OC Lion Flora Chai Sui Fui, 4 Lions , 2 Volunteers , 4 Leo. Throughout the evening, the everyone worked hand in hand, approaching guests among table to share the purpose behind the project and encourage support for this noble cause.

Thank you to everyone who supported us and made this success. Together, we proved that small efforts can create a big impact.

On 3 April 2026 (Friday), we successfully organized a Paint Handover and Grill Painting at SMK Taman Mount Austin as part of our ongoing commitment to community service and environmental improvement.

A total of 30 tins of paint sponsor by President of Lions Club Of Johor Jaya Dato Albert Ding were handed over to the school to support repainting works aimed at improving the safety, cleanliness, and overall appearance of the school environment. This initiative is part of the Lions’ Environment Global Cause, focusing on creating a more conducive and pleasant learning atmosphere for students and teachers.

The project was led by Oc Lion Eva Lee, together with participating of 4 Lions members , 1 FOL . We were honored to be warmly by the school teacher Mrs Cheng, who expressed their appreciation for the club’s support in enhancing school facilities.

In addition, 13 students from Sunway College Johor Bahru and Victoria University joined this meaningful activity as part of their community service program. Their participation demonstrated strong youth involvement and teamwork in supporting community development.

Through this project, Lions Club of Johor Jaya continues to uphold the spirit of service by contributing to the betterment of educational environments and strengthening collaboration between Lions members, educational institutions, and young volunteers.
