马来西亚华人旅游业公会（柔佛分会）于 2026年4月29日 在 Novotel Hotel 顺利举行了 第19届会员大会（AGM）。大会在理事及会员们的踊跃参与与支持下圆满完成，各项议程顺利进行，现场气氛融洽。

本次大会除了回顾过去一年的会务发展与成果，也顺利完成了新一届理事的选举工作。在此，恭喜新一届理事正式产生，感谢大家的信任与支持。相信在新团队的带领下，公会将持续团结业界力量，积极推动旅游交流与合作，为柔佛旅游业的发展注入更多动力。

同时，大会也一致通过委任 郑建全先生 为本会 永久荣誉会长，以表彰其10多年来对公会的贡献与付出。

The Malaysia Chinese Tourism Association (Johor Chapter) successfully held its 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 29 April 2026 at Novotel Hotel. The meeting was conducted smoothly with strong support and participation from committee members and members, and all agenda items were completed successfully in a positive atmosphere.

During the AGM, the association reviewed its past year’s achievements and developments, and successfully carried out the election of the new committee members. We would like to extend our congratulations to the newly elected committee and thank all members for their trust and support. We believe that under the leadership of the new team, the association will continue to strengthen industry collaboration and contribute to the growth of the tourism sector in Johor.

At the same time, the AGM also unanimously approved the appointment of Mr. Edwin Tay Kian Chuan as the Honorary Chairman, in recognition of his long-standing contributions and dedication to the association.

The new committee line-up for the term 2026–2029 is as follows:

Led by Chairman Mr. Tay Kian Chuan, the committee members of the Malaysian Chinese Tourism Association (Johor Chapter) visited Taiwan in 2026. During the trip, they held successful meetings and visits with the Taipei Association of Travel Agents and Tourism Malaysia (Taipei Office).

在本月23日马来西亚华人旅游业公会柔佛分会会长郑建全出席在新山士乃国际机场, 一同伴随着马来西亚旅游年2026吉祥物以及各位官方旅游局代表一同迎接来自各国的嘉宾。逢着今年的开斋节在士乃国际机场举行的庆祝活动, 营造了传统的开斋节庆祝氛围, 以马来西亚的热情来欢迎各位远道而来的游客。

On the 23rd of this month, Chairman Edwin Tay of MCTA Johor Chapter alongside representatives from Tourism Malaysia among others, as well as the mascots of Visit Malaysia 2026 has welcomed guests, both local and international at Senai International Airport Johor Bahru. The celebrations held at Senai Airport this year during Hari Raya helped to recreate a traditional Raya atmosphere, welcoming visitors from afar with passionate Malaysian hospitality.

On 9 March 2026, the Malaysian Chinese Tourism Association Johor Chapter (MCTA Johor Chapter) had the honour of participating in the Johor Ancient Temple Chingay Procession.
This long-standing cultural celebration, rich in heritage and tradition, brings together the community and showcases the vibrant multicultural spirit of Johor. The event was held in a lively and harmonious atmosphere and concluded successfully.
During the procession, we proudly presented a themed float highlighting Johor Tourism Year and Visit Malaysia 2026, showcasing Johor’s tourism attractions and supporting the national initiative to promote Malaysia as a premier travel destination.
We are truly honoured to be part of this meaningful cultural event and to witness such a remarkable celebration together with the community. We will continue to support and promote local cultural activities while contributing to the growth of tourism and cultural exchange.

The annual Johor Chingay Parade is a source of pride for the people of Johor Bahru. As pioneers in promoting local tourism, Malaysian Chinese Tourism Association (MCTA) Johor Chapter with the participation of chairman Mr Edwin Tay, and Team alongside more than 30 MCTA council members and committee members are honored to have joined this year’s Chingay and witness the century-old tradition of faith and unity!
