A two-branced organisation, providing humanitarian works and spreading traditional Islamic knowledge

The humanitarian organization is established to provide supporting aid to poor communities, as well as providing emergency relief during humanitarian disasters. The organisation focuses primarily on building water wells, providing food packs as well as advising and inancially supporting Islamic schools. We want people to have access to clean water, food and education. The organization also aims to be informative about the condition of people in need.

PAYING THE DEBT OF RELIGIOUS TEACHERS | SPECIAL NUZUL AL-QURAN

Part of Zakat may be allocated to those burdened with debt (al-Gharimīn). In conjunction with the blessed night of Nuzul al-Qur’an and the remembrance of Badr, EMF has initiated a campaign to settle the debts of 94 religious teachers in Yemen.

These teachers have accumulated debt simply to obtain basic household necessities from their local grocery stores. This reflects the level of hardship they endure in their daily lives and the difficult choices they must make to sustain their families.

Each year, EMF supports them by settling their outstanding balances directly with the local grocery stores, easing their burden and allowing them to continue serving their communities.

Your support helps restore dignity and relief to those who dedicate their lives to teaching and preserving sacred knowledge.

EMF have just received the details of 40 orphans in Yemen and 40 orphans in Gaza for sponsorship.

By supporting an orphan, you are also helping their household, in many cases a single parent struggling to provide basic needs.

All beneficiaries are zakat-eligible.

Alhamdulillāh, in conjunction with the blessings of the night of Nisfu Sha’ban, a humanitarian programme titled Special Nisfu Sha’ban: Yemeni Refugee Aid was successfully carried out on Wednesday, 11 February 2026, corresponding to 23 Sha’ban 1447H, at Skyvilla Apartment, Serdang, Selangor.

*SPECIAL NISFU SHA’BAN | RAMADAN FOOD BASKET FOR YEMENI REFUGEES*

Nisfu Sha’ban is an auspicious night. It is also one of the nights where Allah (SWT) answers our prayers in a hadith.

There are hundreds of Yemeni refugee families in KL. At EMF, nearly all of our educators and teachings are rooted in the Yemeni community, and we remain committed to uplifting and supporting these families—both here in Malaysia and back in Yemen.

Rasūlullāh ﷺ loves the Yemenis and indeed, they have gentleness and exemplary character. In fact, Islam spread in our regions through the Yemeni callers to Islam (Du'aat).

This food basket might seem small to you, but it could be very meaningful for them as it will help them prepare for their Iftar in Ramadan. All food baskets will be distributed one day before Ramadan inshaAllah.

🚨 ACEH, SUMATRA EMERGENCY APPEAL🚨

Heavy and prolonged rainfall, intensified by Cyclone Senyar in late November 2025, has brought devastating floods and landslides to Aceh and the wider region of Sumatra. Entire communities have been submerged, homes swept away, and families forced to flee with nothing but what they could carry.

More than 1,000 lives have been lost, over 300,000 people have been displaced, and 600,000+ individuals are affected, many of them now facing severe shortages of food, clean water, and basic necessities.

EMF is actively coordinating with our trusted partners on the ground to deliver immediate humanitarian assistance, with a primary focus on Aceh and surrounding areas. We are mobilising emergency relief — food supplies, clean water, and essential items — to reach those who have been tested beyond measure. Every aid package delivered is a message to them that they are not forgotten, and that their Ummah stands with them in their time of need.

Rasūlullāh ﷺ said:

“Whoever relieves a believer from a hardship of this world, Allah will relieve him from a hardship on the Day of Resurrection.”

*WATER WELL NEEDED FOR MASJID PUROK 4, MUTI, ZAMBOANGA, PHILIPPINES 🇵🇭*

Alhamdulillah we just completed our water well #75, at Masjid Al-Habib, Bolong, Zamboanga, Philippines. (Completed project in pictures below)

The Imam of another Masjid Purok 4, requested a water well for their Masjid and their village, to be build next to a Masjid. Water will be shared with all, Muslims and non-Muslims. (Picture of Masjid below)

The waqaf of this automated water well, with wudhu’ will be able to accommodate up to 500 villagers.

*SPECIAL MAWLID RASUL - SPONSOR A STUDENT OF SACRED KNOWLEDGE AND SHARE THEIR REWARDS*

Do you know what is the absolute best way to give sadaqah? To sponsor a student of knowledge, because then you will get to share all of his/her rewards. In this way you will first be rewarded as a person seeking religious knowledge, and over time you will earn the rewards of an Islamic teacher. This reward will continue even when you are in your grave.

Abu Hurairah (May Allāh be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allāh ‎ﷺ said, "He who calls others to follow the Right Guidance will have a reward equal to the reward of those who follow him, without their reward being diminished in any respect on that account.'' (Muslim)

And:

“When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jāriyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased).” (Muslim)

EMF is currently sponsoring 41 students of knowledge, who are all very bright and deeply dedicated to their studies.

The nationalities of the students consist of Singaporeans, Malaysians, Ugandan, Filipino, Indonesian and Yemeni students. Normally, our students are *ZAKAT ELIGIBLE*.

Sponsorship include living expenses, personal needs, books, stationary, visa and school fees.

Sponsorship for 1 student + family: SGD 400 for 1 month expenses

Sponsorship for 1 single student: SGD 140 for 1 month expenses.

Any small contributions will be collected to make it enough for the students expenses.

🍞 EMF MERCY BAKERY – YEMEN & GAZA | URGENT UPGRADE & EXPANSION 🥖

Alhamdulillāh, since 2022, our Mercy Bakery in Yemen has been a beacon of hope, baking and distributing over 5,000 loaves of bread daily to families in need.

We started humbly with just 1,000 loaves a day, and through your continuous support, we now feed thousands of hungry souls in one of the lands most beloved to Rasūlullāh ﷺ.

To continue operating effectively, we urgently need to upgrade our bakery machines and purchase a new generator to cope with frequent power cuts.
The total required: RM 100,000.

Due to the rising costs of flour, oil, fuel, and other necessities, our monthly operating budget has also increased. We’re now inviting you to contribute RM 140 monthly to help sustain this vital project.

🕋 Feeding the poor is one of the most beloved acts to Rasūlullāh ﷺ — and through Mercy Bakery, your sadaqah reaches those in need, one warm loaf at a time.

After many heartfelt requests, Alhamdulillāh, we have also expanded our Mercy Bakery to GAZA, where families are in desperate need of food.

In the midst of war and ongoing blockade, Mercy Bakery Gaza brings hope, distributing warm bread to families who have lost everything.
