FEBRA Johor Bahru Fresh Breeze Residents Association The Fresh Breezes Residents Association or FEBRA for short was first setup on the 16th of July 2005.

Its founding members Mr Krishnan, Dr Saras, Mr Thevarajah, Mr Shanmugam & Mr Gurcharran brought together the residents of Fresh Breezes with the intention of fostering unity amongst residents and to boost security in the neighbourhood. It was during this time, the always safe, secure and peaceful neighbourhood had been plagued by a spate of petty thefts, break ins and sn**ch thefts. This prompted

the formation of the association. The very first meeting was a momentous one held at the corner of Jalan Chantek and Jalan Chantum. It brought together a majority of the long time residents as well as new ones whom all agreed in unison that security and safety was key. The event was also graced by the late Tan Sri Low Nam Hui whose family had been living there since the early 80s. FEBRA was officially registered with the Registrar of Societies (ROS) Malaysia on the 3rd of July 2006. There has been an active participation by a majority of residents and committee members with their interaction at resident meetups, AGM's. The FEBRA committee have been active with their regular committee and sub-comm meetings (specifically security).

Dear residents,
We the Committee would like to thank those residents who attended the AGM on 13.6.2026 both from Fresh Breezes and Coronation Park. The quorum was fulfilled. We had a good discussion about security. It was refreshing to see participation from Coronation Park this year. However, sadly we could not elect a new committee. We need younger members to carry the association forward. We will have to conduct an EGM ( Extraordinary General Meeting) according to our constitution within one month. We urge younger residents to come forward or contact us if interested to join the committee.
If at the EGM, we cannot elect a new committee, then this 20 year old association will have to be dissolved and the Security arrangement shall be terminated. Thank you.
