The association met YB Sandrea Ng Shy Ching, The Chairman of the Housing and Local Government for Perak state to discuss the single-use plastics bag issue and environmental sustainability.

The meeting focused on exploring how the association can collaborate closely with the government to develop a more effective plastic waste collection system while promoting greater public awareness on responsible waste management 🌱♻️

📢 We have successfully organized today’s seminar with a total of 27 participants from the plastics manufacturing industry in attendance. The seminar served as a valuable platform for industry members to gain insights into current business support initiatives, sustainability efforts, and financial solutions. 🤝

The 38th Annual General Meeting of the MPMA Perak Branch was successfully held with 36 attendees including proxy forms received from ordinary member. The meeting provided an important platform for members to review the branch’s activities and financial, also discuss industry matter.

After the meeting, the representatives from Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad were invited to deliver a presentation on available grant facilities and financing solutions including Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives. The presentation provided members with valuable insights into funding opportunities and the growing importance of ESG practices in supporting sustainable business growth within the plastics industry.
