SI Ipoh’s Love & Gratitude Event on Thursday 1st January 2026.

SI Ipoh hosted a heartwarming ‘Love & Gratitude’ event for 30 children from SI’s very own, Edufun Centre and Good Shepherd Home — a beautiful way to begin the year by nurturing kindness, friendship, and appreciation, also at a perfect venue with a perfect ambience.

The morning was filled with joy — from fun games to a gift-wrapping session where children exchanged presents with one another, spreading smiles all around.

The children were treated to a delicious meal of tomato rice with chicken, along with sweet treats like cupcakes, donuts, and jellies, all lovingly prepared by the PWW Café team.

A special highlight was the chartered bus ride to and fro the PTC Equestrian Centre, where the children enjoyed watching the horses from afar — a memorable bonding moment for everyone.

A huge thank you to all the teachers, carers, and SI Ipoh members for making this day so meaningful.
A day full of fun, laughter, connection, and gratitude — what a wonderful start to the new year! 💛

With the increasing number of crimes and sexual assaults, SI Ipoh is organising a Street Crime Awareness Programme for women and young adults across Perak.

This programme aims to raise awareness about everyday threats and equip participants with practical skills to avoid unnecessary risks, whether at home, at work, or in public spaces.

The session also includes guidance on coping with emergencies with confidence and composure.

Too often, we react after danger happens. But what if we were trained, prepared, and confident ahead of time?

We’ll learn from Captain K. Balasupramaniam how to:
✔ Handle sn**ch thefts
✔ Deal with road rage & bullies
✔ Stay safe while traveling
✔ Protect our families during threats
