Today was a truly rewarding day for PWW, made possible by the dedication and kindness of our amazing volunteers.

A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers, Chelsea, Siew Fong, and Mandy, who generously gave their time and energy to care for and accompany a whole busload of teachers and children to enjoy the ‘Season of Postcards’ musical at the Auditorium RTM this afternoon. It took tremendous coordination between parents, teachers, and volunteers, and we are deeply grateful for everyone’s teamwork.

We are also incredibly proud of our wonderful cooking team—Rozita, Hema, and Indira—who worked tirelessly to prepare and cook meals for more than 120 performers and volunteers. Over the course of the event, they catered four meals, serving a total of 500 people.

The cooking, cleaning, and washing will continue until tomorrow, but every bit of effort has been worthwhile. We are happy and honoured that PWW could play a small part in making this meaningful event a success and creating joyful experiences for our community.

To every volunteer, supporter, and team member—thank you for your dedication, compassion, and hard work. Not forgetting Ms J. Chai, a generous sponsor who made today possible for everyone. Together, we make a difference. ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to The Lost Food Project (TLFP) for generously donating boxes of delicious treats to PWW to be shared with families in our community.

We received an amazing variety of goodies, including Cadbury chocolates and cookies, Oreo biscuits, fresh milk, chips, and Nescafé drinks. These thoughtful treats brought so much joy and excitement to the families who received them.

Your kindness and generosity mean so much to our community. Thank you for helping us bring smiles to many faces and for making a positive difference in the lives of those we serve.

PRISMANITA and Women’s Well-being Advocacy Programme @ Domestic Violence (AKU WANITA@KRT) Perak 2026

Ms Chelsea Yeap and Dr Gayaathiri, representatives from PWW, attended the above programme @ Domestic Violence (AKU WANITA@KRT) Perak 2026, organised by the Perak State Women’s Development Office (PPWN Perak). The programme was held at the Banquet Hall, Ground Floor, Perak State Secretariat Building (SUK Perak) from 8.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

The event was attended by approximately 400 participants, comprising representatives from government agencies, NGOs, institutions of higher learning, and members of the public. The programme was officially launched by YB Dato’ Salbiah Binti Mohamed, Perak State Exco of Women’s Development, Family, Social Welfare, Entrepreneur Development and Cooperative Committee.

The primary objective of the programme was to raise public awareness on preventing all forms of violence against women, particularly domestic violence. It also aimed to empower women with the confidence and knowledge to report abuse, seek justice, and inspire other survivors to come forward.

The programme featured several informative sessions, including an introduction to violence against women, a sharing session titled “Let’s Be Brave to Report”, and exhibition booths by various government agencies, organisations, and women entrepreneurs. These activities provided participants with valuable information on available support services, legal protection, and community resources for survivors of domestic violence.

The programme successfully highlighted the importance of collaboration among government agencies, non-governmental organisations, and the community in addressing domestic violence and promoting women’s safety and well-being.

It was a learning experience for these two members and they appreciate the opportunity to participate in this meaningful programme. PWW looks forward to strengthening future collaborations with relevant stakeholders to continue advocating for the rights, protection, and empowerment of women in Perak
