【慈善传爱 · 温暖同行】

今天是 Kiwanis Club Of Gopeng Perak 慈善成立 8 周年，我们以一场温馨的小小布施活动来庆祝这个有意义的日子。

在这份爱心传递中，我们捐赠了 100 包午餐以及部分生活物资，送往残障院与儿童院，为他们带去温暖与关怀。

《The Kiwanis a Club of Gopeng》was formed 8th years ago. We came to know about Kiwanis when Fellow Kiwanian Jacqueline Goonting enquired about having a youth camp in Gopeng. They started organising their Key Leader Youth Camp in 2009. After learning how, Kiwanis not only benefit the youths to be leaders of tomorrow, we also learned that Kiwanis offers and opportunity for personal involvement for the community, the nation and the world. Kiwanis is well known for Community Service and much more. Meetings and projects also provides fellowship and sincere and lasting friendship.

Key Leader Chairperson Andrew Heng, Assistant Coordinator Chong Mun Pak (MP Chong) and Jacqueline Goonting kept encouraging me (Beverly Lee) and my team to form a club in Gopeng so that we can extend our community services to the people in Perak and not only in Gopeng. To encourage us they also included us as volunteers to get the feel of how Kiwanis can touch the lives of those in need. Jacqueline Goonting, visited us on many occasions convincing us, how much we can do for the community and make a difference.

We sincerely thank Andrew Heng, Chong Mun Pak and Jacqueline Goonting for helping us form the club and being our sponsor.

Today Kiwanis Club of Gopeng has touch the lives of many household who has been badly affected by the pandemic. We will uphold the Objects of Kiwanis and bring proud to the Board of Directors and members of Kiwanis Club of Taman Desa, KL for encouraging us.
